i guess my question is what are they investigating? they claim to have the shooter,DNA,film,rifle. haven't heard about ballistic match but seems the investigating is done. so,looking into a deeper conspiracy is not slowing anything down.
yea,on principal,i think they are lying or covering up. that is just based on past gov actions in all the killings we know about. i doubt any deeper digging is going to happen. some who were aware might be found and charged with conspiracy. those will be small time players mostly jacking their jaws. any JFK like conspiracy is never going to be found,admitted or investigated. i don't think Netanyahu ordered it. doesn't mean he didn't with 3-4 levels of cutout. that is never going to be looked at anymore than dim party leaders,Muslims in this country or rep neocons.

Yes. I used several cases of CCISV in my T1X. An average of 44 (10)shot groups at 100 yds was 1.77” Center to Center. At 200 the vertical stringing was brutal, 8”-9” over 10 shots. The “groups” would be 2” wide. I practiced on paper at 100. When my positional groups got small enough to be close to my bench groups, I upgraded ammo to SK S+ and SKRM. Until then, use CCISV to practice, unless you are only doing BR.

I own Misery Custom Rifles and I use my business credit card almost daily purchasing gun parts and what not. For years now my business card gets fraud charges and I have to go through the whole process of canceling, waiting on a new card to show up, then updating my card information for all my accounts. It happened again last night and now this is my 6th business card this year. My personal card as well as my wife's card don't ever have this problem. It makes me believe one of my vendors somehow has unsecure payment allowing my information to get out. I'm trying to narrow down where it can be coming from but I use too many vendors to even know where to begin. Has anyone had issues with any vendors in the firearms industry as far as their cards getting frauded? If you don't want to mention names publicly feel free to send me a PM. Thanks, Zack Tannen

To start with, two barrels of the same length, same material, same contour from the same company can still have chambers that are cut a little different even with the same reamer (reamers wear over time), which can produce different results. Even the bore can have a little different cut. Next, barrel lengths produces different velocities. . .the projectiles are in the bore for a different length of time with exactly the same cartridge load. Then there's "harmonics" where different barrel lengths vibrate differently, just like orchestral chimes. Different vibrations of the barrel means a different point of release when the projectile exits the muzzle.

You might use your friends load as a starting point for your load development. You might get lucky and find a "node" pretty close to what's works for him.

Yeah, I'd say that's about right with a good lot of CCI SV. That ammo is a good standard velocity plinking ammo, but far from being match ammo.

At 50 yards, the best bulk ammo I've found for my setup is Federal Auto Match.

These days, I'd say the best ammo you can get that isn't insanely priced is SK Standard Plus, even that runs $90 a brick. I've had some very good luck with SK Semi Auto, but that has been very lot dependent and the time and money spent lot testing eats up the savings.

Check out Whidden Gunworks. You can order a lot of the ammo they sell by lot number.

Well the bullet sure looks like it's engaging the freebore/throat area of the chamber.

Don't use a caliper to measure the bullet diameter. To get good numbers use a quality mic and make sure it's calibrated and that the mic measures in .0001" increments as well.

Your doing the right thing in getting a hold of the barrel maker/gunsmith that set it up for you.

I know it's a pain in shipping... but I would ask them that when you send the barrel in to send in the whole barreled action so they can check everything out.

I've run Hornady black ammo in other calibers (not in 6CM) and never had an issue with bullets hitting like that. Also as a fyi we make pretty much all of Hornady's ammunition test barrels. They haven't called with any issues with chambers etc... on the test barrels that we do for them.

I'd also reach out to Hornady and see if they would want a box of ammo back for them to look over. It wouldn't hurt to give them a call.
