In absolute terms, @straightshooter1 's un-annealed versus annealed brass raw percentage difference numbers are pretty striking.
  • At 100 yards, SS's data shows a 47+ percent increase in group size in un-annealed brass (.34 * 1.48 = .503)
  • SD of un-annealed brass increased 76 percent (9.6 * 1.76 = 16.9)
Inside of 500-600 yards, though, the practical differences arguably don't matter much for PRS-style competition with PRS-common calibers. BUT the hit probabilities separate more as range increases.

At distance, AB Quantum "Weapon Employment Zone" modeling shows the following probability of hitting a 1-MOA circular target with wind set to 0MPH and everything else "perfect" for the shot (this data for 6.5 Creedmoor 140 ELDM at 2775fps):
  • 1000 yards (11"):
    • 93% with SD=9.6 and .3-MOA accuracy @100
    • 70% with SD=16.9 and .5-MOA accuracy @100
  • 500 yards (5.5"):
    • 100% with SD=9.6 and .3-MOA accuracy @100
    • 98% with SD=16.9 and .5-MOA accuracy @100
I haven't encountered many 1-MOA targets in the matches I shoot, but neither have I ever shot a match with no environmental effects - especially wind - on my shots. Adding in a little wind variability to the WEZ model drops percentages anywhere from a little (constant wind velocity) to a LOT (gusty, switchy), as one would expect.

It really depends on the bullet but we're mostly contrained to 2.25 or 2.35 to stay in thr magazine. Some bullets of course woukd hit the lands at 2.25.

I don't see how this isn't a problem wi5h the barrel. Factory ammo should fit in a Sammi chamber. Who's 6 arc barrel is it? Ask them for a chamber print? Ask them who's reamer they're using? A lot of people are shooting 6 arc with Hornady ammo. I haven't seen a lot of complaing about this. That really makes me lean toward a problem with the barrel.

Well, as you all know, at my age, my friend, and most of our friends, are retired and
have the time to address such "Honey do's"….
So, he invited some of his neighborhood buddies over to help with the project.
One is a sheet metal fabricator.
One brought his welder.
One brought beer and Nachos.
One brought a grill and burgers.
Took us about 6 hours, and 30-40 beers, but we got it done just as we finished off the last of the beer and burgers.
As usual, the wife is still not happy!
Can't understand, cause all us guys love it!
Personally, I cannot wait for rain.

Not to brag, but I have the best ups delivery guy. I'll get a call or text if im not home or he sees me driving around.

Now the axle i just had shipped freight was the complete opposite. Driver said it was delivered, no idea where and nobody signed for it. Just left it on the side of the road randomly. Went up and down the street and nobody seen a truck even come down the right road.

Your old posts in this thread was a large part of me “trying” varget with the 135s. I put trying in quotes because all I did was load 10 at each of the 2 charge weights and leave the seating die where it was for the h4350 load.
