Join contest SubscribeBrownell's Smith busters....As I mentioned, if you toss in "accuracy & precision" into the main goals of the build, then you aint using a sloppy fitment and 620.
If we are trying to gain 0.1moa on a decent dry fitment from low-cost low-effort procedure, then so be it. I think the goop does help stabilize the fitment during heating cycles, so you get whatever gains there are to be had, but there's little diff in gains between any of the bedding goops mentioned thus far. And then we factor in other things that can basically shadow out the small gain from goop, ammo/barrel/shooter.
I sure hope readers know all the work to bed is not something you see from 1-shot per target trying to match poi of sights. Any gains made can only be measured in groups of shots on same target. Almost all of the movement of barrel happens after the bullet has left the muzzle.
And then we have Camp No Bed. Makes it hard to sleep at night. Happy bedding.

Holy FOOK! early 80's we used to use them to throw at street signs! --full ones.Water in the morning, lone star in the afternoon
Could it be a he/she or it?
Doesn't matter if we import the steel or not.... even raw material to make the steel gets imported to some extent depending on what it is... so no matter what prices are going to be affected. How does a tariff on import affect your prices? Are you importing the steel?
Kowa uses glass that has more floride that most rifle scopes would allow due to being more brittle but it is one the reasons the Kowa lenses in spotting scopes are so good. Thanks for that Deny. I wonder if the glass is similar to the floride Ed that Kowa uses, which is known to be among the best money can buy.
I spent a summer at atterbury before going to Iraq and that place is brutal that time of year. Mirage in an ACOG was nasty at 300m so I can only imagine at distance.
I have a new ZCO 840 getting delivered next week but it sounds like I need to snag one of these new March PRS scopes to give a spin. The mirage was horrible last weekend with a zco527
Bud, the question you're asking has a VERY subjective answer. I tore my hair out for over a year trying to find the perfect LPVO for me. I own or have owned every LPVO worth trying from about $2500 on down.I'm interested in LPVO options that fit the following criteria:
Second focal
MOA dials
MOA reticle (no bullet drop compensation setups)
Illuminated reticle
I've found the Vortex Razor HD 1-6 and Sig Tango 6T 1-6. Any others I've missed?
Appreciate the help!
We did that to a Cummins V-12 (VT1710M) on a SAR case, as it turns out running a diesel with the throttle shoved to the stopper for 24 hours makes shit melt.
#1 is the issue of magwell fitment being tied to bottom metal/chassis not the action itself.
#2 issue is the rocking of the mag. Designs with the spring location reversed back to front may address this.
#3 slant-stack loading is better than vertical stack loading, if feeding otherwose equal.
Do you still use a 100 yd zero in this case & if so, how does that work? Do you measure from the muzzle or from the erector? What kind of velocities are you seeing?I’m getting a 400yd barrel spun up. You heard it here first.
Kick em all the FUCK OUT
Chinese national couple charged with smuggling crop-killing fungus into US: ‘Potential agroterrorism weapon’
A Chinese national couple was hit with criminal charges Tuesday for allegedly smuggling a dangerous fungus into the US capable of destroying crops and poisoning humans and livestock.
Zunyong Liu, 34, was caught by US Customs and Border Protection officers attempting to smuggle Fusarium graminearum — a biological pathogen considered “a potential agroterrorism weapon” — into the US via the Detroit Metropolitan Airport last July, according to a criminal complaint filed in a federal court in the Eastern District of Michigan.
Liu initially made false statements about his visit to the US and his knowledge of the pathogen before admitting to law enforcement that he was bringing the noxious fungus to his girlfriend, 33-year-old University of Michigan lab researcher Yunqing Jian, according to authorities.
Ok, looks like a great movie, but the last line..."Chance would be so honored knowing such a senior officer brought him home."See "Taking Chance" Very Honest movie...
