Pouring a 30"×40" concrete pad on top of concrete floor?

Here's an approx 30" square pad pad poured for a steel column to support triple LVL's for a second floor.

I had to cut through the basement slab to excavate it. It's 16" deep, so about 22 -24 60# bags.

It's very similar to what you're doing.

Here's about 1100 bags poured under my brick - surfaced gun range

Here's a front porch supported by a footer and poured walls and deck, sitting next to brick veneered poured walkway.
Probably another 900-1000 bags.

You can rock a safe from ground to a 2" wood box. from that to a 4" wood box, etc till you get your desired height.
Did that before I installed a vault door.

I bet I see a half-dozen dumped animals per week. Irritates me to no end.

Fortunately some good people in the area have started working as fosters until we can get them fully vaccinated, and I have started working with some adoption agencies too.

It isn't just the "dumpers". There is a whole other group that refuse the $61 annual exam and vaccinations, or the $6-8/month heartworm prevention for their dogs. That takes too much away from their pack+ per day smoking habit while on government assistance... not to mention that they refuse to get anything spayed and neutered (which brings us back to dumping).

A couple years ago we were at the vet with our cat. This little guy (he's older in this pic) was a at the vets office, a month or two old at the time. They told us some asshole had left a litter of kittens in the trash can outside of the vets office. He was pretty sick but we adopted him and named him Eddie Manetti. He is 7 now and living like a king.

There is a special place in hell for people that abuse pets.

I’m not defending her, but that’s not what she said, exactly. What she said was she had Trumps orders on her desk to release the information on JFK, MLK, and Epstein. Now what she ultimately did or didn’t do is a different discussion…

I have a 20" one. Shoots quite well for a medium weight barrel in a plastic stock. Trigger is good too. Cycling is fine.

It does have somewhat weak ejection. This hasnt caused malfunctions, but could if the bolt is weakly cycled.

It turns of accuracy, it has been perfectly acceptable. With good (but not lot-tested) ammo I have been able to average 1.25" 100 yard groups, with some down into the 0.9-1.0" range. This is with SK Rifle Match and Eley Team.

I am not sure that it is as easily modifiable as the other platforms, but mine is being left stock, and it is a very good stock rifle.
