She’s looking for a bolt action chambered in either 270 or 308, and she is dead set on having a wood stock.
Does anyone have experience with any of the newer offerings that come with a wood stock?
She’s looking to spend in the sub 1k-ish price range including rings and a decent 3-9 to put on top of it

Does anyone use the boretech action cleaning tool kit who has a zermatt arms origin action? I'm wondering if the molded rubber wiper would break or damage the control feed extractor, especially when pulling it back out since the extractor will catch? Also what size brush do you use to clean your 6.5cm chamber? I really like the boretech idea of cleaning the raceway as well as the recessed lug area with the molded rubber wiper but don't want to spend 75 bucks when it won't work with the controlled feed extractor. Any chamber and lug area cleaning tips would be greatly appreciated. Hope you all had a good Christmas amd new years and got in some shooting.

Hey, guys I bought this suppressor about 7 years ago and looking to get back in to long range shooting this summer. I have it on my Remington 700 5r right now. I picked up a Christensen Arms MPR in 300WM. Is anyone familiar with this suppressor and know if I can shot it on my new gun with this caliber or is it too much? Sometimes I like to shoot seated at a bench, but I don't have a good front rest. Of course I have a bag, and a long time ago, I bought a Rock Jr., but the Rock Jr. tops out at 7.5", so you really have to get down on your belly to use it while seated.

Is there anything cheap anyone here could recommend? I can make something from wood, but I really don't want to. I would like something that goes at least two inches higher.

I don't want to carry a board around and put it under the Rock Jr.
