US Präzipress Ordering

I couldn't find this info before ordering so posting for those interested in the process of ordering a Prazipress from the United States.

Model: Heavy Präzipress 120
Cost: $1029.14 (Press + Shipping + Import Duty)

Timeline
5-29-2024 - Purchase (PayPal)

12–9-2024 - Received Paper Invoice from Thomas Turban

12-11-2024 - Received Paypal Invoice from Thomas Turban
12-11-2024 - Paid Invoice

12-17-2024 - DHL Tracking Received

12-18-2024 - Received DHL Import Duty Invoice ($38.40)
12-18-2024 - Paid Import Duty (PayPal)

12-19-2024 - Delivered by DHL (not handed off to another carrier, im in Tennessee)

Obviously very long delay between purchase and invoice, radio silence. 204 total days from order to delivery. Once the ball gets rolling DHL sends a pile of emails each day. It's important not to miss the import duty one, it needs to be paid. PayPal invoice and a few DHL emails are in German. Can confirm it does come with 1 1/4-12 and 7/8-14 adapters by default.

Old man Karl shoots up entire swat team

Listen to this old man that can barely walk speak near the end of the video- he sound like a meth head ?
And once again do t see any gang or cartel tats on him or his wife - but I never see the gangs and cartels get this treatment . old man Karl may be a criminal- they can present the “facts” at trial but Karl is a player .
He’s probably watched some YouTube’s of all the elder abuse going on and said “not me mother fuckers “

Rifle Scopes Which Are The Best Thermal Riflescopes (USA) 2025?

I'm looking at a "top 10 list" for The Best Thermal Riflescopes (USA market), as of now 2025?

As in "the best", not the cheapest or "best for the budget", and looking for uncooled thermals made for civilians and for hunting.
Price will have a factor, but the sensible ones I've found are all well below $10k, so that might be some sort of limit for a lot of reasons.

I have searched and Googled, used AI, and my own experience. It seems that search engines and AI don't keep up, they keep on recommending stuff that's over 5 years old, with a battery life of 2-4 hours. Even Trijicon's top model only runs a 640x sensor with a high NETD (as in bad), while the Europeans and Chinese run 1024x / 1280x and really low-NETDs for a lot less, including LRFs with ballistics.
Is the US market blinded, or is it me? Are ATNs even worth being on the list? AGM?

So, please hit me up with your suggestions.

These should probably be on the list:

Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XL60 (plus XP60 and XG60)
Nocpix ACE S60R (and H50R)
Trijicon REAP-IR

Which other models and manufacturers are missing?

Ammo Reduced! Ft. Scott 115gr 9mm TUI Solid Copper Spun

Picked up a few thousand of these Personal Defense rounds and thought I would share a great price with the members of The Hide. Ballistic testing shows these to be very lethal in Gel testing and very Barrier Proof. Solid copper projectile retains shape and weight and tumbles upon entry (TUI) creating a very good wound channel both temporary and permanent. Selling lots as follows:
120 total rounds/6 boxes for $114.00 shipped
240 total rounds/12 boxes for $216.00 shipped
720 total rounds/36 boxes for $525.00 shipped
At these prices if they do not meet your application they would make great gifts for friends and family!

Check out the posts later in the thread with testing in the field.

Thanks for looking

Rimfires vs. Airguns

I always try to shoot all of my air rifles somewhat regularly just to be sure they are working ok. My Crown MK2 has been sitting for quite some time and all the air leaked out. It's about 6 years old and I suspect the O rings in the reg are dried out and brittle. I aired it up and it held air overnight, so off to the range. This gun is in .22 cal with a 380mm barrel. I was shooting AEA 18.3 gr pellets and was pretty happy with the one hole groups at 50 yards.

Then, another shooter showed up next to me with his RimX rifle with a Shilen bull barrel and MDT chassis and a bunch of different match ammo. He was shooting at 50 yards too. I swung my scope over to his target and while his groups were ok, they weren't as good as mine. We were both shooting off of bipods. It was a very calm day and we both shared a lot of our experiences. This was one of the most enjoyable days I've spent at our range. Nice weather, nice friends.

The most fun airgun I ever had = Western Mordax Venom.

Easier to post the link to my review on AN forum but comment or ask questions here too if you want.

SOLD Burris XTR PS

I have a basically brand new PS. Took it out, mounted to take pics and play with it. Super neat scope. It has xtr pro glass in 99% sure. It’s solid in any case. Scr2 mil reticle. The ballistics computer is spot on. Dial to your range and send it. The built in level and match timer are very cool as is the wind hold in the HUD. You can customize the HUD and do ballistic profiles through the Burris connect app. Super easy to use. It’s a little big for what I got it for so re-homing. Will sell outright or trade for things like a mk5 3.6-18 pr2, Steiner msr2 or an nx8 mil xt. Would consider other scope with a cash plus on my end. Atacr etc. Possibly an LPVO if it’s the right one.

Hornady 76g a tip

Was waiting for this bullet to finally become available, seemed like a home run for tac division prs... ordered 200 to do some testing and development. The disappointment when I saw on the BC on box (it was previously impossible to find from hornady or anywhere online).
G1 .416
G7 .208

It's not even close to being on par with the 75 eld match.... early call is these will be a lead balloon

Anyone have experience with these yet? What's the point of this bullet if the ballistics aren't that much better than the 73g eld match, and when compared to the new 62g VT it can't keep up with barely having an edge in ballistics but with additional speed, won't catch the 62 in drop or deflection anywhere meaningful?

Just disappointed I guess, I was hoping for a relationship like the 108 eld and 110 atip

LMT MWS Accuracy Expectations in 2024

I’ve been reading a lot of threads but many are from 2012-2014 it seems

Let’s talk accuracy from your LMT MWS setups. 6.5/260/308

I’m putting together a MWS and have a 16” CL barrel I picked up from the px on the way. Will run hunting ammo in hopes of under 2 MOA accuracy but will be looking for another barrel 18-22” range in 308 for it

Share your setups and accuracy

CL and SS also looking into custom from D. Wilson
