Suppressor Summit 2024 numbers for these two are very comparable.

OCL is 17-4 stainless, 5.8" long x 1.625" diameter, 14.5 oz.

B&T is Titanium & Inconel, 7.28" long x 1.73" diameter, 17.3 oz.

For use primarily on an AR, is the B&T worth 2x as much?

I'm not planning mag dumps or full-auto. Range training and a little hunting.

I might put 1k rounds down-range with this rifle, in it's current/non-suppressed configuration, per year.

Will the B&T outlast the OCL due to materials?

How many rounds (and at what rate of fire) would it take to realize the difference?

Thinking about doing something dumb and getting a htx mk11 barrel and having dwilson convert it for my mws as an easy button.

Has anyone used one? How's it shooting? Particularly thinking about the mk11 in 6.5creed.

Looking to see if anyone has any experience using a ranger 7 on a winmag. I am sending my sdn 6 in for the resto and wondering if it's worth getting a dedicated 300 suppressor over using the renewed suppressor. Thanks guys.

It seems as though at least a few of us share a second addiction of chainsaws, log splitters (thanks to you wonderfully generous deplorables), firewood hoarding and stacking, and in general just making trees our bitches.

tnichols and I are both on at least one other forum specific to this field, but like us with precision rifles, the guys over there are maniacs for this shit. You can't ask a simple chainsaw question without the general consensus instantly being that you have to have a custom-built pro saw ( and many of them) for every application. I figured there might be some fun in those of us who don't make a daily living at it (with the possible exception of oneshot86 earning his Natty Light money) just sharing some knowledge and pictures of our setups.

I'm also WAY overdue in following up on Splitzilla's status, so this is as good a place as any.

I know we've got pics related to this spread all over "what's my view" and a few other threads, but feel free to duplicate / consolidate them here as you see fit.

I have a BCM 14.5 rifle with stock bcm buffer system. I shot out the stock barrel, rebarreled with Gieselle 14.5 chf. Superlative adjustable gas. Stock bolt. I ran it in a class for 1500 rounds. No problems. I put on an sjc titan brake. The rifle runs but will not lock back on the last round. Even with full gas. When you hold bolt stop down on last round, it locks back on the carrier not bolt face. I put in a jp scs with stock spring out of another rifle and it works with full gas and locks back, but move that gas 1 click and doesn’t lock back.

What do I need to change on this? Lighter spring? Carrier? Buffer weight? Thanks!

From heavybuffers.com, 8.5 oz Buffer and Wolff XP spring for use on am A5 buffer systems. The combo does not have much use on it, I tried the A5 system on a 308 carbine but it didn't seem to correct my feeding problem. Turned out I just needed a flow through suppressor.
