I would like to propose my new social theory and get your feedback on it. This is based on 20 years of dealing with groups of people.

THEORY: The collective IQ of a group can be determined by taking the average IQ of the group, and then subtracting from that number 1/3 of the difference in IQ between the average, and the average of the lower 50 percent of the group.

As an example, if the average IQ is 100, and the lowest half of the people in the group had an average IQ of 70, then this theory says that the group collective IQ will be 90.

This theory reflects the fact that the intelligent people in a group who are above the average are hindered from solving problems rapidly and correctly by the influence and disturbance caused by the people with intelligence below average. In other words they cancel each other out, but intrinsic survival instinct and work drive progress slowly forward. The theory also accounts for the disproportionate influence of those who are truly mentally disabled in society. They take a large percentage of the time of the most intelligent because the severely disabled constantly create problems they are not able to solve themselves. It is much easier to destroy than to build. This reflects the laws of thermodynamics.

True genius is occasionally recognized and the survival instinct drives everyone to adopt a more efficient form of living once the truly intelligent have figured it out. This drives society forward long term. However, in the immediate term, the group IQ can be approximately calculated using this theory.

I am trying to look at another can on primarily for use on a 300 blackout with mixed use of subs and supers but with much better sub performance than my current oss 762 qd and crux cans. I am interested in the CAT JL and ODB but can’t find much realistic comparison if the larger quieter cans such as the JL, Tbac manus, Ptr vent really make a large difference on a semi auto due to port pop and action noise. Anyone have experience directly comparing them?

Largest concerns are low flash and very quiet with subs. Already have a handful of k type cans but the nothing that works great on subsonic rounds (other than 22lr and 9mm).

Possibly more I’m forgetting. In the interest of transparency and honesty, this thing shoots lights out accurate and the trigger is amazing compared to any Glock I’ve ever handled. But, two of the magazines seem to have issues that are common on some generations of the S15. You can send them into shield arms and have them replaced for free, I just haven’t gotten to do that. I’ll also include all the original springs, followers and base plates.

I bought the hybrid brass cases over a year ago and have been waiting for the rifle to hit the streets from SIG.

My Forster dies arrived today.

Quickload says I could possibly push 49-ish gr of H335, using 112gr bullets and be within pressure limits. Obviously I would work my way up to that number.

Reloading data is really hard to come by and I like to reference a few sources before loading some up and tossing them into the chamber.

Has anyone loaded for this cartridge yet? If so, what did you find and if you used QL can it be trusted like you would trust it with 30-06?
