Selling a lightly used Tenmile. Was used for about 200 rounds at the range and shooting steel. The only marks I can find are on the objective side of the turrets a tiny bit of thread locker leaked from the ring. It’s hard to capture in pics but I can text/email more if anybody wants. As much as I like these scopes the reticle just isn’t my jam. Comes with the box and everything a new one would.

I am right handed, right eye dominant, shoot bolt actions with both eyes open. I want to get much better with using my left hand, left eye and shoulder, for reasons. Of course the answer is just do it and go shoot a lot. But.

Do you have any suggestions on techniques for getting positioned properly on a right handed rifle? Do I just mirror my right handed positions ? Trigger, eye relief, lop, left hand on trigger, right on bag, cycle the action with the right hand, etc. or is shooting left handed by a righty better done some other way?

I don’t want to buy a dedicated left handed rifle

How can you determine what the FoV of a scope is — at magnifications other than the minimum and maximum values given in the manufacturer's specs?


Besides the obvious, of course :
"Buy the scope, set out a tape measure, record, caluclate — done."


➧ But, before I bite the bullet and type my CC number in the field.... — I'd like to know what FoV I can expect at different magnifications.

Because to me FoV is a big deal. To March it was so much that they developed their Wide Angle scopes.

as the title states I have an M84 I’m looking to rebarrel. This rifle has never shot decent but I didn’t know any better at the time of purchase. Bought a bore scope and was disappointed in the way things looked.

I like the feel of the action as well as the rifles weight, but I want more accuracy.

Are these actions worth getting trued and rebarreled? If so, what barrel manufactures do you all suggest?

Are there magnified optics without a fixed eye relief?


Sorry for flaunting my optics ignorance so unabashedly with this question.....


I love my red dots:
No matter where my eye is — sometimes 2 feet away from the optic, sometimes almost touching it — I always have a shot.

However, I'd like something with a little more magnification, even 2x or 3x would be great.

I understand that adding a magnifier will change my eye relief — and my unlimited-eye-relief red dot turns into a regular scope with a fixed eye relief of only a few inches.


➧ Is there anything out there that will do this trick?
➧ Or are we still waiting for that innovation?
