Need help with Meopta customer service

My meopta B1 15x took a dump this weekend during a match, it fogged up and now has double vision. I purchased it 4 years ago from camera land. I messaged Doug Sunday and he was awesome and responded to me the same day recommending I call Eric at meopta and gave he Eric’s phone number. I have call three times and left 2 messages and no response from Eric. Has anyone else tried to use the meopta warranty or another contact number I can try? I used the 1800 number.

Any help would be appreciated

.308 Bergara B14 HMR: Manufacturer's 10-rnd AICS mag wobble.

I hope this has not been covered elsewhere but I could not locate.

I have a Bergara B14 HMR .308 and two(2) 10-rnd AICS mags branded by/purchased from Bergara directly. They each have a significant amount of play (about 1/2"). When firing with a mostly full mag, they both drop out from the rifle. They have behaved this way since day 1. The 5-rnd from Bergara has zero play and no issues. Top half of 5 and 10-rnd mags also appear identical.

To anyone with this rifle - have you experienced a similar issue? I would like to purchase a different magazines - preferably PMAGS or other polymer - but another post described the Bergara's as a rebranded PMAG (although visually it does not appear to be the case. If I will have the same issue with a new magazine (Bergara or other) I'd rather not spend the money.

Let me know - thanks!

Double leg amputee- shot 11 times in the back

I don’t know if we should laugh cry clap , take this like the Joker and say “why so serious?”

After flipping him out of his wheel chair , and seeing a knife , these bad ass hard core mother fuckers followed him down the side walk while he was stumping away at almost a snails pace and while talking to one another and to laugh after each shot
shoot this handicapped man in the back 11 times -
I guess this is the next “rush” when beating the old and weak gets common and boring .

I remember few years back the old amputee in the electric cart in LOWES , someone told the police he had a knife so they shot him 8-9 times in the back inside the stores entry way . And he did have a knife but wasn’t using got to attach anyone it was in the basket of the cart . And they went away for murder .

Wonder what’ll happen to these guys playing g run and gun with a free range amputee?

The guy presenting this video and case is a hard core anti cop anti white black nationalist- and they just pitched him a soft ball, waist high slow over the plate with the bases loaded .

Firearms Custom lightweight 7PRC Defiance+Proof+Manners

Selling a rifle I recently built, but decided I don’t need another lightweight rifle, so testing the waters.

Primarily looking for trades at this time, but since I have to put a price on it, $5250 shipped to your FFL.

Trade interests include AI, Cadex or MRAD rifle preferably in 6.5 PRC, 7 PRC, 300 PRC or 338 LM.

Rifle build is as follows (not looking to split any parts of the rifle up, at this time)
-Defiance Classic LA Mag nitrided action (46 rounds on the action)
-Proof 22” 7PRC CF barrel w/ASR brake (round count is 46, barrel was properly broken in)
-Manners LRH stock w/mini chassis and forward pic rail
-Hawkins M5 DBM CIP+ bottom metal
-Timney HIT ST trigger
-Leupold VX6HD 4-24x52 w/Vortex Precision Rings

As it sits, the rifle weighs 9.2lbs. I shot a box of hornady Match through it (during break in and sight-in), the other 26 rounds were all handloads. It shoots the 180 Berger hybrids lights out. I attached a picture of the chrono data for my final/most accurate load. This would make one killer of a competition NRL hunter rifle.

SOLD L3 Storm - AN PSQ 23

Up for sale is one of my PSQ 23s. Everything functions properly. The range finder was tested out to over a mile, and I confirmed the IR works as expected using a PVS 30. I was most recently running this on my mod 5, but for the cloners out there it’s “correct” for several setups including a mod 7, even an m40a6, etc… See attached pictures at the end.

The lenses do have some very fine scratches for full disclosure (see picture, this is how I received it and does not impact the range finder or lasers). Included is the pressure pad remote, as pictured.

$ shipped via FedEx with a signature required. Let me know if you have any questions.

Is the SMASH 3000 Another Version of the Tracking Point?

This sighting system has been out for a few years now. This first article is from October 2022.

The Army is officially adopting a ‘guaranteed hit’ smart scope

This is the company that is producing the SMASH 3000. They don't have any purchasing information but I bet the device probably costs close to $10,000 or more.

This video is a little boring but shows the capability of the sighting system. The only downside that I can see is that they need to produce a version with night vision / thermal capability. Maybe the device is night vision compatible. I haven't read enough about it yet to know what its full potential is.

Using PMII 3-20x50 on TRG 22 and SP10 with QDP-4602 – viable plan?

Currently running a Schmidt & Bender PMII 3-20x50 on my Sako TRG 22 (6.5 Creedmoor) using a Spuhr ST-4701 (35 mm height, 7 MIL cant, direct to dovetail).

I recently bought a Seekins SP10 in .308 (18” barrel) and I’d like to run the same scope on both rifles.

I’m considering switching to a Spuhr QDP-4602 (34 mm tubering, 38 mm height, 6 MIL cant) and installing a low-profile 0 MOA Picatinny rail on the TRG.

That would let me swap the PMII between the two rifles using QD, and use marked zero offsets.

My questions:

1. Do you think this is a solid plan or would you recommend running two separate optics instead?

2. Is there any practical downside to the increased scope height on the TRG (from 35 mm to 43 mm centerline)?

3. Any experience with RTZ performance using QDP mounts across bolt and gas guns?

Appreciate any thoughts or feedback!

Paging BuffaloWinter, please pick up the White Courtesy Phone…

Interesting mag and configuration…

Loach pilot, probably late ‘60’s or early ‘70’s. Pic from random Facebook posting.

IMG_8046.jpeg

Some are saying this was a 30 round mag that some of the SF and aviation guys bought mail order from US. 30 round at mags. I know they have been available, if not issued.

Some are saying that these were “field conversions,” putting an AR feed lips on an AK mag to increase capacity (which seems unlikely as AR mags are aluminum and AK mags were steel (and some Bakelite/polymer).

Any insights? Also interesting Grenade launcher configuration. Like an early 203.

Anything you recognize? Or built?

And I considered it might be an AI image… but looks more like an old Kodachrome.

Cheers, Sirhr
