Christensen Ridgeline .300 RUM

At only 8.5 lbs, this is a great backcountry, big game hunting, precision cannon. I took this bad boy on two successful elk hunts and they both dropped in their tracks. Haven’t shot it in years, time to go.

I don’t remember the exact load data I used, I had a knowledgeable buddy helping me with it and he did most of the work, but I have five unfired cartridges that can be deconstructed if you so choose. Around 100-120 total rounds fired.

Ruger American Ranch Gen II 300 BLK with Primary Arms SLX Nova Gen 4 1-6 in Vortex Pro Series rings. Still have original box and everything for both the rifle and scope.
Only has about 60 rounds through it and is in great shape. I’m selling because I have an AR in 300 BLK and a lever action in 357 mag and I end up grabbing one of those two over this rifle so it doesn’t get much use.

Very accurate and shoots 300 BLK supersonic loads 200-300 fps faster than my 10.5” AR.

- Excellent condition - used a couple of range trips, but not for me. My eyes are close together, and you can't tilt the reticle in the right tube, so the entire binoculars are tilted for me.
- Includes all original accessories and RRS Mount (shown mounted in the pictures)
- Glass has no marks, but I'm not good at capturing that in a photo.

Don't know how I got the ring marks, I'm pretty gentle...otherwise barley/lightly used and mechanically like new. Full kit. 650 shipped.

I'm looking at a new CZ 600 Alpha in 224 Valkyrie. I know there's a safety recall to make the barrel a permanent installation.

But I've also read this:
For a new CZ 600 with the original barrel:

I did not see a .408 reloading thread so figured I’d make one.

I did a pressure test with RL25 with 420 grain Parker Productions (Formerly known as RMB) this weekend. I loaded them .025 off the lands


At 134 grains I saw pressure signs start to show on the brass. No heavy bolt lift.

From what I have observed with Retumbo and these bullets they seem to like the 2850 range. So I will test the 128-129 grain charge next time I get to the range.

I used Peterson Brass & FED215 primers.

Rifle was a factory Desert Tech HTI 29” 1:13 barrel.
