SOLD Brand new boots - Danner Mountain Light 11.5 (46) - SOLD, La Sportiva Glacier WLF 11.5 (45) - $old

Danner Mountain Light 11.5 (46) - sold

La Sportiva Glacier WLF 11.5 (45) -$140 shipped OBO

Both pairs of boots are brand new, both are 11.5 D, but the Danners are on the large side of 11.5 (they fit me and I normally wear 12, whereas the La Sportiva 11.5’s don’t fit me at all).

Both are great boots, I have the La Sportiva Glaciers in size 12 and love ‘em. And the Danners will last you forever, you can have them resoled and use them for the rest of your life.

Hit me up with any questions, open to trades and offers.

Looking for help reading my ocw test

Hey everyone, first time poster long time lingering.

I'm looking for some help interpreting my ocw test I just completed.

20" barrel 308 1-10

175 SMK
Varget
Br2
FC brass
No Chrono unfortunately

I decided to load up some 44.5 and 44.2 based on this test but I'm not entirely confident I read the results correct.

The group consisting of 44.4 I pulled the high shot. Slipped off the bag right as I fired. The next group felt good but a similar impact to the previous makes me think it wasn't me maybe it was.

Anyone with more expertise is love the help

I also loaded up some 45gr as the shape was decent so I'm tuning that in with seating depth.

TheHide.TV Everyday Sniper Podcast, Monday Morning Coffee

Just got back from Traveling and I wanted to do a simulcast of the Everyday Sniper Podcast on the Hide so you can watch this or listen to it.

In this episode I talk Ward Burton Wildlife Foundation, Laura and I attended this event in Virginia and really enjoyed it. The Round Robin events they had were super fun. It was Fishing, Skeet Shooting, Pistol Shooting and then to Bow.

Then I went to Spear Mountain to Visit the Major Land Sniper Cup location. I helped with the course of fire. The goal of this visit was to make the Major Land event more efficient.

I simplified the course of fire to not only hopefully fix the flow, but to fix the way you ID targets and maybe the way we use the Range Officers.

I really think people will like the changes I made to it. Super straight forward.

Lastly My barrels for the 6 ARC are here !

I can not move forward with my 6mm ARC bolt gun project and pair it alongside the 6ARC Gas Guns.

But don't forget the live streams are available.

Thanks for listening, thanks for sharing, thanks for being a part of the everyday sniper podcast.

Barrett QDL brake on a Model 99?

Hello everybody.
I own a 32" Barrett 99 in 50 BMG.
I have read somewhere that replacing the OEM Muzzle Brake with a QDL would redirect the muzzle blast away from the shooter (or at least reduce it).
Can anyone confirm?
If so, my basic understanding of physics suggests that actual felt recoil would increase, but how much?
It is a $500 piece of gear and it would be nice to know if it's worth dropping the coins on it...

Firearms Clearing out the gun room SALE

Selling the majority of the stuff I have accumulated over the years. Bear with me on shipping as I do my best to get stuff out within 1-2 days but sometimes my job dictates otherwise. I’ll keep you in the loop regardless.

I’m going to start with the guns and then will move onto ammo if it doesn’t sell with the guns, and then reloading and accessories after that. I’ll get stuff posted as I have time. There will be lots of FREE stuff posted in another ad as well like I’ve done in the past.

Whittling my safe down to just a couple firearms so I’m pretty much set on trades. I would take a stcatto XC or Wilson project 1 on trade (can add cash where needed). Always open to high end mil/mil optics.

List:

Norinco JW-15 22LR. - SOLD

Stoeger condor supreme OU 12 ga. - SOLD

LMT/Larue AR. Larue upper and barrel - KEEPING

CZ Bren MS2 10.5 5.56 gasser. - SOLD

Taurus tracker - SOLD

Sig 365 xmacro comp -SOLD

Curtis/MPA 6mm CM barreled action. - SOLD

Armalite SPR1. The monolithic upper version. Like new and shot very little. All factory from everything I can tell - $750 shipped

F17 design folding lower (PSA 2 stage trigger) w/ PSA 7.5” 300BLK upper. This is setup as a pistol currently so if you purchase it locally you’ll need the usual permits. Shoots awesome suppressed with their AAC 220gr ammo (one box included) - $700

Norinco SKS. All marching numbers and in awesome shape. I shot it very little and it was all non-corrosive golden tiger. 1800 rounds of golden tiger available to the buyer of the gun first - $425 shipped

Beretta 92x RDO compact. Comes with factory box, two mags, LOK grips and the factory set. Bought this new and barely shot it. - $525 shipped

Sig 226 SAO Legion. This has one of the best factory triggers I have felt so I kept it around instead of my stacatto. Shoots amazing and the SRT is crispy. Comes with factory box and two mags - $950 shipped

I owe you all pictures so I’ll try to get those up soon. PM me if you’re seriously interested in buying something and I will try to send you those sooner.

My Review: Telson 5-32x56 Target Master Victory Rifle Scope

My Review: Telson 5-32x56 Target Master Victory Rifle Scope
After spending nearly a year with the Telson 5-32x56 Target Master Victory rifle scope, I’ve had the chance to put it through its paces in just about every scenario I could throw at it. From casual range sessions with a .22 LR and .460 Styer to competitive ELR matches with a 33XC, this scope has consistently impressed me with its performance, durability, and thoughtful design.

Versatility That Delivers Across the Board
I’ve mounted this optic on everything from rimfires to full-blown ELR rigs. At one point, I even dropped it during transport, not ideal, but after checking it on a collimator, I found no shift in zero and perfect tracking. That kind of durability gives me real confidence in the gear I rely on.

Built With Real-World Use in Mind
The Target Master Victory’s design shows that it was made for shooters who actually spend time behind their rifle. The knurling on the turrets and magnification ring isn’t just decorative—it provides a solid grip even with wet hands or gloves. That’s something I’ve appreciated more than once in unpredictable weather or under match pressure.

Turrets That Click With Purpose
I’m very particular about turret feel, and this scope delivers. The clicks are tactile, positive, and easy to track—no mushiness or excessive resistance. Whether I’m making a quick adjustment mid-stage or dialing for a long shot at the range, the turrets perform exactly as they should and return to a solid zero stop every time.

Optics That Punch Above Their Price
What really surprised me is the quality of the glass. The apochromatic lenses do a fantastic job at minimizing chromatic aberration, and I get a crisp, high-contrast image in all lighting conditions. Early morning, midday glare, low light—this scope handles it all well. For a scope with a $2,099 MSRP, the image clarity easily competes with optics in the $3,000+ range.

A Reticle That Just Works
The reticle design is one of my favorite aspects of the Target Master Victory. It’s fast, intuitive, and precise—perfect for competition or practical long-range shooting. I recently used this scope in an ELR match and finished fourth overall, shooting solo against two-man shooter/spotter teams. The reticle played a big part in that success allowing me to quickly spot, measure and adjust on my own.
Target Master FAR2 5-32 and 5-25 MIL For AB (1).png

A Game-Changer: Dual-Turn Elevation Indicator
One standout feature is the dual-turn elevation indicator. Once I pass 15 mils, a clear visual indicator pops up, letting me know I’m on the second rotation. It sounds simple, but when you’re under pressure during a match, it’s a huge advantage. I never have to second-guess whether I’m dialed correctly, which gives me one less thing to worry about.

Final Thoughts: A Reliable, High-Value Scope
The Target Master Victory has earned its spot on my rifles. It’s tough, repeatable, optically sharp, and user-friendly. Whether I’m at the range, on the hunt, or competing at distance, it gives me the confidence I need to focus on the shot—not the gear.
If you’re in the market for a scope that offers high-end performance without the premium price tag, this one is absolutely worth a look. I’ve used a lot of optics over the years, and the Telson Target Master Victory stands out as one of the best values I’ve come across.
