Russian collusion?

a question just occurred to me in a moment of karmic enlightenment. back during the Russian collusion by Trump FBI game, why did the progs and most of the deep state care. they had been happily colluding with the Russians from 20s to 80s. was a lapse of critical thinking for me. i know it was all pretend but the libs were just all crying about betraying the country which they had been doing > 50 years. same applies to most of their heroes. odd.

MDT Launch the New Control Bridge - ACC Elite.

MDT_ACCEliteControlBridge_01 (4).jpg

MDT Sporting Goods Ltd. Announces Their New Control Bridge - ACC Elite.

We're excited to announce the launch of our new MDT ACC Elite Control Bridge. This accessory acts as a mirage mitigation device and provides a barrel cover when reaching up and over your forend for added control.

The textured top face reduces the chance of your hand slipping and provides additional grip, while the six screws securely fasten the bridge to the forend for a very rigid interface. Optionally, they can be stacked for full forend enclosure or coupled with the NV Bridge (coming soon). It has clearance for large-diameter, straight taper match barrels. This product is only compatible with the MDT ACC Elite chassis systems.

The MDT ACC Elite Control Bridge is now available with a starting price of $119.95 USD and can be found at https://mdttac.com/control-bridge-acc-elite/

Water filtering

So we have pretty hard water. The city supply comes from wells. The report puts TDS at 1200 a ppm meter shows about 700ppm. Considering the geology and the color staining. I would suspect that a lot of the ppm is going to be iron and calcium/lime.

I have been looking at three stage filters but I wonder how much they will be able to drop the ppm. It makes me wonder if a full house RO system would be better. Who is filtering well water here? What's your filter set up? How was your water before and how much improvement have you seen?

Florida shooter

I’ve gotten so much good info from this forum over the years and finally figured I’d join in. Good group here, thanks to all who take the time to share their knowledge and experience. I’m a long time shooter, reloader and archery and gun hunter. Also been getting into competitive shooting over this past year. Action steel, steel challenge, rimfire PRS, and multi-gun.

SPR Decisions. LMT MRP vs HK MR556 A4

SPR

  • LMT

  • HK

Results are only viewable after voting.

I have a OTB griffin can, Leupold 2-10x w/piggyback DPP that needs to be attached to a SPR. My question is do i go with a LMT MRP Quad setup or use the MR556 A4 as a platofrm. The HK would be a touch more expensive. The LMT would be all factory but with a Proof SS barrel converted for use.

****EDIT****
I went with the MR556 A4 and converted to a SPR setup via B5 sopmod stock and a geissele rail. Couldnt be happier. See below for details (1/2" 10 round groups, good velocity, super soft shooting)

What we’re REALLY up against when it comes to “Immigration”

It’ll come as little surprise to anyone here, but the recent “protests” by Illegal Alien Invaders (“IAI”) and what they REALLY want has been intentionally buried by the Fakestream Media.

They don’t want to be or become Americans. They want to either retake or sieze as much of America for themselves as possible. They have no desire or intent to assimilate. They want to push their “La Raza” agenda (“The Race”). They are genuine racists who believe in the superiority of the Latino above all other races.

It is widespread. It is irrefutable. They are criminal invaders.

Steiner S432 Add-ons

I scored a new S432 for about 1/3 msrp. Im looking at the way it has the mlok rails mounted and Im seeing that promotional photo everywhere of a low mounted rds. Does anyone have any idea where to look for something like a RDS adapter plate that is integrally mlok? Id rather save the total height and extra pieces by avoiding doing the mlok to picatinny to rds adapter. TIA.

Accessories Really bad ass mountain bike willing to trade for specific firearms and related *XC large frame"

First off I am only listing this here because I would be interested in some firearms / scope trades. Of course I will be happy to sell out right, but I'm not posting here on the hide to just see if I can sell it. I need to recoup some funds for my latest race bike, so I really only want partial trades in less it's something I can't pass up. Here are the trades I'm looking for in order of most desirable:

1: rifle scope for a precision rimfire, must be FFP MIL MIL, in the 3-18 to 5-25 ish magnification range, sub 50 yard parallax for rimfire prefer not over the $1500 trade value

2: Xylo chassis for R700 short action

3: 12 gauge pump gun (hunting gun with screw in chokes) 870, 500, 88, etc

Lightly used Specialized Epic World Cup frame fork and shock. I purchased this new in June of 2024. The frame is in excellent condition with two small paint scratches (one on the top tube & one on the non-driveside chain stay) both shown in the pics.

The fork and shock were sent back to Specialized December 2024 for a full 200 hour rebuild. This was early but I purchased a different bike so I wanted the suspension to be freshly fully serviced before I sold this bike. See pic for receipt of rebuild.

Other than the frame, shock, fork, headset, and Mt Zoom seat post everything else listed below is 100% new and never been installed. The following build list includes retail pricing:

Berd Hawk 30 wheels: $2095
XTR Cassette: $410
XTR derailleur: $270
XTR shifter: $130
XTR brakes: $ 553
XTR rotors: $174
Cane Creek eeWings Cranks: $1099
Cane Creek Hellbender BB: $125
Maxxis Recon & Recon Race 2.4 Tires: $140
Race Face Next SL Bar: $143
Bike Yoke Barkeeper Stem: $90
2 Shimano chains 1 XTR & 1 M7100: $90
Shimano 180mm disc caliper adapters: $16
Wolftooth 34t drop stop chainring: $80
Ergon mountain saddle: $100
Ergon GE1 Evo grips: $35

This is around $5550 just in the new parts. I will sell everything listed for $6800 shipping included in the lower 48. Insurance and PayPal fees are on the buyer. I live in Jasper Arkansas and am willing to drive a few hours to meet up, I will take $200 off for a face to face deal ($6600)

Feel free to reach out with any questions or for more pics / video call, whatever.
