I really like the Geissele mk16 rail with the built in arca. Are there any other rails with machined in arca? I haven’t seen any aside from the sgt of arms .

Looking at 18” barrel (223). Heavier, but not a pig . Any recommendations? I know there are so many good barrels out there currently .

I am new to this forum and I am from germany.

I like to understand what a 0,5 MOA promise by a manufacturer means. It is hard to find detailed info about what exactly they promise. How many rounds? Including first round? What about multiple groups and do they all need to meet the 0,5 MOA?

At the moment we faced some trouble with MPA rifles for PRS and they give a 0,5 MOA promise, but from our point of view the rifles did not achieve this. Up to now, it was impossible to get any details from the German importer what is promised by MPA.

Maybe somebody has more info and any feedback is welcome.

Hello, I am looking for any advice on buying my next EDC. Thank you all in advance for your expertise, I genuinely appreciate it. I have narrowed it down to the Staccato CS or the Wilson Combat EDC X9 w/3.25 barrel.

I was somewhat leaning towards buying the WC, however I was really firm on buying a gun that had DLC finish. At this time WC will not DLC finish their slides and barrels. It is disappointing because I thought if I am using for my EDC, I assumed it would be a nice feature to add the DLC and hopefully hold up better. On a side rant it is frustrating because Staccato, Nighthawk and Atlas all have DLC finish as an option (sorry rant over.)

I am wondering what everyone's thoughts are on these two models and if you feel one might be the better option for EDC (fit, finish, accuracy, reliability etc etc.) I am also open to other options as well. I really like the Nighthawk double stack, but I think it is too heavy for every day carry and the Atlas EOS barrel is 4.25 inch (ideally I would prefer around the 3.5 inch.) Thanks again everyone!

Has anybody had issues with RCBS dies being out of spec? I have a 26 Nosler that after running through the RCBS dies, the shoulder actually gets longer. Press cams over so there is no way to get the shoulder bump. Had a friend run my once fired brass through his dies and get a perfect 2 thou shoulder bump (like I was expecting). Called RCBS and they act like every die they ever made brings it back to SAMMI spec and my chamber is the issue. Anybody have thoughts on this?

I have a like new 12 twist 20" MTU or M24 barrel with EC Tuner on it. Barrel is threaded 1/2-28 and uses the Tuner adapter. I was going to do a second RimX build for the wife and she has decided she is got going to shoot any rimfire competitions. The barrel has been shot 2-300 times with Norma Match, SK Standard Plus and RWS R-50. The barrel shoots well to 200y what little I did shoot it. I never did run the tuner for fine adjustments. I don't have any group pictures any more. It has been in my barrel drawer for over a year.

So I bought a Tikka 260 CTR with the ideal of building a 280 AI. However I threw some loads together (139 Scenars/ 42 grns H4250) and after a quick zero, shot a .4 group. I decided I would postpone the 280 build and use it for deer hunting this season. I have been trying to work up a load with some 142 grn ABLR's. I've been to the range a couple times and the last 3 rounds I fired were 43.2 grns of H4350 averaged around 2550 fps ...slower than expected. I plan to bump the charge up to 43.6 - 44. I'm hoping for 2750 - 2800 fps.....am I asking too much for the CTR's 20in barrel and does anyone know of another powder that might get me more speed.

ive been using PIG gloves for shooting/hunting/general thin gloves that are easier to handle things than the yellow rawhide construction gloves.

i really like the PIG gloves but i seem to be good with them for a couple of months of regular use and then the seems on the fingers blow out and they are worthless. Im not an operator or high speed guy but id like some dexterous gloves that are better quality than the PIG gloves. also, they have gotten more expensive like eveyrthing else.

are mechanix gloves the way to go? i dont really need the knuckle protection of the high speed oakley gloves but ill take all suggestions.
