Hello Horde,

I am looking to purchase one of the above for my hunting rig, likely a 7mm Mag Bergara Ridge. I am looking for real world experience with either scope. Mainly curios as to which has better glass and turret feel/repetitiveness. I can purchase one or the other for about $80 difference in price, so that is a non factor at this point.

Much appreciated

I have the 7-35 mk5. Assuming they are essentially the same glass/ turrets, both are great. Great eye box and clarity. The turret tracks perfect and the clicks feel good. Im not a huge fan of the zero point of the windage. It's at about the 10 o'clock position, and the reference mark is a little far from the turret, so it makes me second guess myself when I look at what I have dialed in/ bring it back to zero. That said, I love the scope, its on a 300 Norma and it's been dead on every time I've shot.

Thanks do you have any experience with the bushnell?

I have a DMR 2 Pro on a 308 AR. i like the reticle and size of the scope, but it’s on the heavy side. I’ve been considering replacing it with a MK5 or ATACR eventually, but right now no complaints on my end. For a dedicated hunting rid I’d lean toward the MK5. Another scope to consider would be a Bushnell LRHS or LRST 4.5-18 or 3-12

I have both mk5 3.6-18 and the bushnell 3.5-21. I bought the mk 5 after having the bushnell. Mk5 is better all around for sure but that doesnt mean I dont like my bushnell. It's a solid scope tracks reliably and has good glass and I dont plan on getting rid of it any time soon. If you can only have one save a little extra and get the mk5, but the bushnell wont do you wrong in any way.

Is your Bushnell the Pro model or the "standard" DMR II (or older HDMR or ERS)?
