I have been using BR4's in bolt guns for quite a while. My primer seater ( 21st Century ) has the ability to adjust seating depth of the primer. I seat the BR4's 8K below flush in Lapua brass and they all go bang...........Happy Shooting.

Personally, I use the FX set-up and run it through a line conditioner......But I am sure Youtube or a search over on www.accurateshooter.com could be better info than me on a Sun morning over coffee.
If you want to use an electronic scale and don't want to pop for the FX-120 Autotrickler set-up I would suggest a Chargemaster and run it on a small motorcycle battery. Lots of 6ppc comp. shooters use one and load at matches with great success........Good Luck
At 1000yds the wind will blow them into the group as well as out. It's a crapshoot at 1K to shoot a small 10 shot group. Now if you have a great tracking gun and the ability to get all 10 down there REAL FAST your odd increase......Hard to find a "Honey Hole" range where the wind stays constant...
I didn't read all the responses to the OP so if I repeat something.....OOOPS ......I suggest you stop tumbling your brass, especially with SS media it digs up the neck something fierce. You want to leave the carbon in your necks for your bullet to seat over. Just nylon brush out the necks the...
I would think you would have to work up a load with the new bullet....I shoot the 208 A-Max out of my 300RUM and they seem to like just slightly touching. Best of luck.......
