New Optic for M4: Just Bought TA01 NSN ACOG

As long as you stay in the same class of bullet, it won't be too far off, but I ld just go out it on paper and pull some triggers. That's really the only way you'll see what your ammo does in your rifle.

    Suppressors Batch Processing

Does anybody know if the ATF is still batch processing forms? I efiled for an sbr yesterday but have two form 4s outstanding for a couple of cans, one since June and one since early August. I'm expecting the form 1 back significantly sooner than the form 4s, but I thought I would check and...

Hunting & Fishing Boulder Outdoor Survival School

I haven't been personally, but a friend of mine went for one of their 28 or 30 day classes. He had a tremendous experience and came back with some serious survival skills. Taking one of their classes is definitely on my list of things to do.

Suppressors File paperwork or wait for E-Forms to come back?

I just got a paper form 1 back that I filed in September of last year. Took almost the exact same time as the one I submitted about 24 months ago. The latest one had one of the new examiners on it so the new guys are getting up to speed.

Don't know what to do.. Keep or sale GAP 6 Creedmor

Just my two cents, but here's how my thought process would work. 1) If I need the money, sell it. 2) just me and don't want to get into a new caliber, sell it 3) just me with my normal thought process, keep it. 4) me and wife girlfriend/wife or kids that like to shoot, keep it...

264 win mag vs 6.5 creedmoor

I bought a .264 win mag sendero before Remington discontinued them and it's one of my favorite rifles. If I need to hit something out to as far as I'm comfortable shooting, that's the rifle I grab. I've killed pretty much everything up to elk with it and have never felt under gunned in the...

    Help me accurize my 6920

I've got a pretty similar setup, 6920 with an ACOG. With this setup, ive got a quick handling accurate carbine that does everything I need the rifle to do. I use mine to mostly shoot varmints (mostly coyotes and hogs) and have used the bdc out to about 500 yards for larger targets (55 gallon...

    Your first long range rifle

My first center fire rife was a Remington BDL in .22-250 and it was somewhat of a jack of all trades for me for a while. It is what I started getting into long range shooting with when I started shooting prairie dogs. It's not a purpose built precision rig by any stretch of the imagination...

    Sendero ll 300wm?

I've got a .264 win mag sendero sf 2, which is basically the same rifle except it has a .26 caliber tube on it. Mine has shot very well so far and I haven't changed a ton of things around yet. I'm waiting to shoot the factory barrel before I do a lot of work on it. I've got a manners stock on...

    Brand New AR-15 Bol Question

That's the way I was leaning, just wanted some confirmation. That is definitely the more fun option too.

    Brand New AR-15 Bol Question

I'm working on building out my first upper and ran into what may or may not be an issue. I think I'm probably just being cautious because it's the first time I've put everything together myself. I bought a complete Young Manufacturing bolt carrier group for this upper and the fit between...

Hunting & Fishing 223/5.56 for deer. Who here does it !

I've shot a bunch of hogs with .223 and most have died where they were standing. As everybody has said above, shot placement is key. I have killed a number of Texas whitetails with a .22-250 using 50 grain ballistic tips. Shots were chosen very carefully and were all under 200 yards. I...

What to expect from factory Remington 700?

Sounds like a nice setup to me. Personally, I would expect MOA performance or close to it with the rifle's favorite ammo. Good hunting ammo might not shoot quite that well, but I would be surprised if it was worse than 1.5 MOA.

Stock Colt 6920 MP sub MOA accuracy: typical or I got lucky?

When I put a magnified optic on mine and shoot match or varmint bullets through mine, it is easily an moa rifle. I really have to focus on fundamentals to get it to shoot well, but my rifle is capable of surprisingly good accuracy.

    W760, good for 338LM?

I run 760 with 190 matchkings in my .308. I don't remember the charge weight, but it is close max. Its a decent load, not my go to, but I'd run it in a pinch and not think twice about it.
