Re: Ammo vest and sling? Look at SKD's "PIG" which is a pretty decent/popular molle plate carrier or an active shooter rig like a tactical tailor MAV w/their x-harness setup.. Add mag and accessory pouches as you desire, at least that's what I am runnin... and here's the sling you want...

Re: Cleaning an AR chamber Wipeout soakin for a couple hours, dewalt w/chamber brush, Jag w/patch a few times, dry compressed shop air to remove anything ya missed. Do it again if not happy.. Lube accordingly of course, Slip 2k.

Re: Ammo recommendations for new shooter. Personally, I'd get a few hundred rounds of this, save your brass for when ya decide it's time to reload.. Federal ain't the best brass for reloading IMO, but for match ammo, this is the best price available I can find.. J...

Re: Basics on changing to detachable magazines I'd just go with the Hooper ord. DBM unless ya want to spend 1K+ off the bat on stock and DBM + smith work.. Until I can afford the stock I want I am just going this route with my PSS stock..
