    I picked mine up yesterday. Unpolished stainless action with a matte black bolt handle. The guy at LRI said he thought that the bolt handle had been parkerized. I had them spiral flute the bolt body for only $30 extra. All of the machine work looks great. I'm happy with it.

    You could go with the .264 win mag and take advantage of some of the awesome high BC bullets available. The only real advantage would be lower recoil than comparable BC bullets in the 7mm.     My Rem 700 AAC-SD has taken new form.

    Looks great! Have you upgraded your trigger yet? I went with a Jewell on my long range custom 7mm STW and it is incredible compared to the tuned factory trigger I had. Other good options are Shilen and Timney.

    Stiller Predator Action

    Re: Stiller Predator Action I've got a Predator long action and I'm happy with it. Feeds nicely, lots of good features such as side bolt release, pinned scope base and recoil lug (comes with the action), Sako style extractor. I'd definitely buy another.

    Re: My new gun is done. 338 Rogue pics That is a sweet rig! Have you tried any of the Generation II Bergers? Supposedly they are holding up to much higher velocities. A couple of smiths over on longrangehunting.com have been testing them with CheyTac based .338s and al reports are good.
