Does anyone know if the ESS can use other MDT stocks? I'm guessing no, but maybe there are plans to allow this?
Love the ESS, but I REALLY like the buttstock that comes with their TAC-21 chassis - was hoping I'd be able to use the TAC-21 stock on the ESS...
I give Nightforce props for introducing the 2.5-10x42 - that's a great scope. I just wish they'd offer more FFP options in the $1.5K-$2.5K price range.
The latest FFP offerings from Vortex and Steiner are going to be Nightforce killers...
I understand people's frustration, but I'd rather be patient and wait for an awesome product (at a really affordable price) than have them release something prematurely that isn't ready yet - just for the sake of meeting a deadline. And FFS, it's still September...
I waited fucking 4 or 5 YEARS...
I'll get straight to my questions here...
1. If I pick up a Remington 700 AAC-SD in .308 - Can I simply drop the action into a Manners stock that is fitted with the MCS? Is that how it works? All you do is drop the action right into the stock and that's the end of it? Or is there some...
Savage has the right idea - not only do they offer heavier barrel profiles, but also offer them in popular precision chamberings - not sure why Remington doesn't get it...
I see lots of pics of MK13 Mod 5s, but I know very little about the very first variants of this rifle - does anyone know the specs of the earliest Mods? Also, when they entered service?
Are these MK13 Mod 1s?

Perhaps I missed a thread about this already, but if not, this looks interesting...

Of course, it's not available commercially, but perhaps it will be one day?
Anyone have any more details about this?
Trying to clarify a few things - perhaps someone can answer these for me...
1. OPS Inc cans were used on Army M-24s, correct?
2. Which M-24 models were setup for this can? M24A2/3?
3. Are they still using OPS Inc cans on current issue M-24s as we speak?
Starting to put a game plan together for a MK13 Mod 5 clone build.
My question has to do with the AICS...
Does AI offer the older style skins at all? Is this something you can purchase from them? Or are you stuck with the new style only?
Old skins (what I want for MK13 build):
New:
Daniel Defense makes excellent products, but if you're going to spend that kind of money, why not have someone like Centurion Arms or High Caliber Sales build you an actual MK12?
What Daniel Defense is selling is not a MK12 - it's just a marketing thing to help them sell more guns. Just like...
