    New to me is shimming CZ 22 bolts to reduce excessive headspace. Many reports of greatly improved group size. I have a BXR that has never shot better than 0.450” groups at 50 yards Even with Lapua and Eley. Measured the recess depth in the bolt today and came up with 0.059”. That is 0.015” more...

    CZ 453 bolt/sear problem

    When I adjust the trigger on my CZ 453 for a very lite pull the bolt will over run the sear and go back too far if I run it hard enough to eject. When adjusted for heavier trigger pull and the bolt stops reliably. So how can I have great trigger and reliability? OFG

    MEASURING RIM THICKNESS

    Been measuring 22lr & 17 HMR rim thickness with the Hornady gauge. All well and good until I noticed that a.040” rim measures .041” or .042” when turned 180 degrees. looking for a better mouse trap. Thanks. OFG

    Really wanted BRN-180s 300 BKL to work. But wouldn’t run with FOG 220 subs. Called vendor and was told to try different mags. 11 different mags from 4 manufacturers same results. One round & FTF, at most 4 rounds then FTF. Also several light or no primer strikes. Lower is 100% with Hardened...
