At ZCO we get asked this question often . In general here is what I recommend in order to determine the maximum safe base angle / taper Divide the scopes total elevation travel by 2 and then subtract 15 MOA off of that number . This will be the maximum base angle we would recommend to still...
At ZCO we manufacture are own scopes. We are not affiliated with any other scope manufacture. Other scope manufactures are our competitors not partners. ZCO scopes sold in North America are assembled in Idaho. ZCO scopes made and assembled in Austria are sold in Europe. You are correct saying...
I just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to all of the members that have commented in this thread and have supported ZCO over the last few years. Your opinion is being heard it is not falling on deaf ears. Although it takes time to develop a best in class optic, good things come to those...
Yes ...40 MOA total is an optimum setting and what we recommend 95 % of the time. Tenebraex flip up covers are available though any of our dealers give them a shout ! Thank you for your support and feel free to call 208 435 4000
Most likely its just a bad F1 setting when the erector was built . .. It happens and it explains your situation 100 % Multiple check points through the build could have detected this error ... ..but it is a very sensitive adjustment to say the least The response time for repair without debate...
If you did not have a 20 MOA base you would have about 17 mils up instead of the 22 mils you currently have . 20 MOA or roughly 5 Mils , Again this sounds about right and it is normal. In general I recommend a 40 MOA base with our ZCO scopes. A one degree or 60 MOA base would be close to maximum
First of all thank you for you support. When we ship the scopes they are set so that our rotation indicator is down. We do this to protect it in packaging and transport. This is not optical center , what you are describing sounds perfectly normal. Please feel free to call us at 208 435 4000
Most of our customers using our scopes for hunting prefer the Mpact 1 myself included. The main reason for me beside less clutter , is at low magnification and on a moving target my eye goes directly to the center of the reticle without any other distraction within the reticle. Thank you for...
The ZCO 420 will focus down / Parallax free to 18 meters in average temp and has a great depth of field . If you need something more specific / closer focus we can get you 15 M without compromising your long range ability . The only exception would be in extremely hot conditions such as 100 -120...
