Hey Gina - You guys have a such great setup there with tons of good stages ... that's one of my favorite parts of the your matches -- I shot there 5 years straight and was never bored. Your team was always able to keep it fresh and new with challenging and interesting courses of fire...
Re: 2012 TPRC A huge THANK YOU to the TPRC crew and sponsors. This was my 4th year at the match and I'm also convinced that this is a DO NOT MISS event -- it was great! I didn't think it could get any better after attending and shooting in years past, but you guys proved me wrong yet again...

Re: What scope do you use for 600-1000 yard F T/R? I'll chime in on behalf of my Leupold ... I've been very happy with my Leupold MkIV M1 6.5-20x50 TMR. And for $2500 you can pick up their MkIV spotter as well But, seriously, if you have $2500 go with the best glass you can for the $$$...
Re: Precision Rifle Series PRS sounds like a great concept put up to challenge some fantastic competitors in the precision rifle sport. Thanks to Rich, Vu, Scott, Kevin, Dustin & Wade for stepping up and leading the charge on this series. Hopefully this will grow the sport and bring even...
Re: What caused my case to do this? (Help) The only time I've ever seen this issue was with excessive case lube during the reloading process. Are you 100% sure these cases couldn't have slipped through the reloading process unnoticed? An inward bulge like that seems tough considering the...
Re: So I picked this up The good news is ... it's a .45 ACP! Combat proven in WWI, WWII, Korea and Vietnam as a man-stopper with good 'ole 230 grain FMJ ammo. And if it feeds reliability, why not simply stick with what is working? I have zero issues carrying ball ammo in my .45 -- when...
Re: 2012 TPRC Every year so far I rolled with full gore-tex ... and NEEDED it every time. This year, I'll bring my snow gear and -- JUST KIDDING :-) This year I'll bring my sunscreen and a back up pair of sunglasses. No rain, lots o' sun. Sound good LH Gina?
Re: 2012 TPRC It was raining for the first time in MONTHS when I sent in my app ... coincidence??? I think not. How 'bout another AZ TPRC in the mud and rain? Bring it! Bear

Re: Eberlestock G4 Operator I've owned & used the G4 Operator for about 3 years now ... it's the best pack I've ever owned & I'm pretty happy with it. It's amazing the weight/load you can put into it & how well it carries. Very comfortable & sufficient pouches/compartments to get your gear...
Re: 168 gr A-max 42.5 grains of Varget was my most accurate load for 168 SMKs. I've also used it for AMAXs. Keep in mind that depending on conditions that bullet will start to go subsonic and tumble somewhere between 800 and 1000 yards. For longer ranges (800+) the 175 SMK works great...
Re: 2011 NorCal Tactical Bolt Rifle Challenge (TBRC) Kilts are STRICTLY FORBIDDEN at the check in and awards ceremony, right Vu? I'm still mentally scarred from the Chiller episode at AZ TPRC ... just tryin' to get out in front of the issue here Bear
Re: Coyote hunt turns into kitty hunt! **VIDEO** Great video -- thanks for sharing. Great shot, too - it initially appeared as if the cat was looking straight at you but the entry/exit wound tells otherwise. Thanks again - I really enjoyed the video.
Re: Military backpack? I carried a Camelbak Motherlode (purchased w/my own money) on my last deployment ... it was great for "everyday use" but I wasn't under field conditions (or using a rifle for that matter) w/this bag. BL - it's great for light/daily use for basic gear/snacks/water/etc...
