Re: Where would you go? What would you hunt? Thanks for all the ideas! I never would have thought of some of this stuff. I really like the idea of Alaska for mixed game... or pirates...
Gents, It'll be a while, but in the next two years I will get to go on a hunting trip anywhere for anything of my choosing. Now, I'm a big bird hunter and I sincerely enjoy wing shooting, but I was thinking of expanding my horizons. If you could go anywhere to hunt anything, where would you...

Hey all, I am new to ARs in general but I bought a Mk 12 Mod 1 and am using the KAC BUIS on it, the spec 200-600 version. I want to get good with them before I put a scope on the rifle. My question is what do you all consider to be "proficient" for accuracy with these sights? I can ring...
Re: Some practical buying advice for a newbie? I would vote LWRC and gap-10 in that order. I don't own either but get to shoot both quite a bit as my range buddy has both. They're both excellent but that's just my preference. Can't go wrong with either. Welcome and best of luck with your search
Re: Am I normal Doctor? love guns but don't hunt Personally I grew up hunting and have loved it since day one. That being said I have also loved shooting since day one, and while shooting is often a component of hunting, they are largely two different disciplines in my eyes. While not all...
Re: Watch Suggestion Rolex. Don't look back haha. It's got a tactical shine to it included in the price too. On a more serious note, I'd go with the Casio Martin
Re: is the remmy 5r the best buy for the money stock? I bought a 5r about a year ago and have loved it ever since. I did some cosmetic work to mine and thats about it. It shoots wonderfully so long as I feed it the bullets worthy of flying and drive it like I'm half way paying attention. I...
Re: MK12 mod 0 or mod1? your take.... I'd say go with the Mod 1. I know you said you think it doesn't look as good but it is just made to be an improvement of the mod 0. The rail on the Mod 1 is more versatile as well. I don't own either but I have shot both and I didn't think the KAC...
I have a remintong 700 5r and it's completely stainless. I took off the factory bolt knob before I thought about this but - will 50/50 soldering (lead/tin) stick to stainless? or should i find an alternate means of attachment.
I'm sitting here thinking about replacing my butt pad - If it take this off will I be albe to get it back on and make it look the same? Essentially is it glued on or do I need to start poking holes to find screws? Thannks -King
