    brass ribs on expander ball

Re: brass ribs on expander ball I use Imperial Application Media with dry neck lube for all my precision cases that i have to run a ball through. I have good luck with the system. I think it is just moly or graphite powder on some ceramic milling beads... Problem solved.

    long range predator AR

Re: long range predator AR Keep in mind 75g amax is a single shot only round, as the bullet is too long on the ogive for mag length. But you probably knew that already.

Suppressors M.I.T.E.R. Brake mount for SPR/M4?

Been looking for a M.I.T.E.R. Brake mount to run on a SBR build that I am planning. I seem to remember Rainier Arms stocking one a while back... can't seem to find it anywhere now. Am I nuts? Anyhow looking for one and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

    5.56 Noveske Rogue Hunter 16" and 30P-1.

Re: 5.56 Noveske Rogue Hunter 16" and 30P-1. I would recommend the switchblock, also keep in mind 5.56 threading is 1/2-28 standard... what is your 30P-1 threaded? You may have to run an adapter.

Whats the most accurate 5.56 barrel for a 18" SPR

Re: Whats the most accurate 5.56 barrel for a 18" SPR I sure like my factory built 18" Noveske SPR with a Switchblock. Shoots .5 moa with 77SMK's and eats whatever ammo you feed it without a hiccup. The switchblock is hands down the best gas block for running a can too. Great company to deal...

Suppressors Baffle erosion, Extruded powder VS ball powder

Just curious if anyone has any data for suppressor baffle erosion differences between ball/flake and extruded/kernal powders. I have noticed on my big magnums that I use Retumbo, H4831sc and the like type powders, I see serious abounts of pitting and/or erosion on the muzzle brakes. I dont run...

Testing .224 Hornady 53 gr V-max in the AR

Re: Testing .224 Hornady 53 gr V-max in the AR Looking forward to this! Is your Remington Tactical and xcr compact by chance? I have been looking for a Bullet that is accuracy interchangable between my 7 twist 18"spr and my 9 twist Rem compact XCR, this might be a good choice.

    Powder choice

Re: Powder choice I have seen some impressive velocities from Retumbo in the big magnums, plus it is as you stated and "extreme" series powder. I would give it a go.

How well does TAC powder in .223 group?

Re: How well does TAC powder in .223 group? I run 24.3g Tac, Winchester brass 450 primers and a 77 Smk suppressed in my 18" Noveske SPR. Any hotter and brass life is reduced. Runs about 2700 fps, sub moa 10 shot groups, SD in the 20's usually. I also shoot a 70 Berger VLD with 25g Tac...

Bullet damaged when loading a compressed load

Re: Bullet damaged when loading a compressed load Another thing to watch for with loads that are highly compressed is bullet creep. It can happen if you anneal your brass, use new softer brass, use moly powder or reduce neck tension or friction in any way. I have seen bullets creep...

    223 Remington Tactical owners

Re: 223 Remington Tactical owners I tried the 75 VLD's in my Rem XCR compact tactical and they wouldn't stabilize any better than the 75 A-max, about 3 moa. I settled on 70g VLD's with a stiff charge of Ramshot Tac.

    Scrap your brass!

Re: Scrap your brass! +1 on what tripwire says for general shooting. I keep a separate stash of weight sorted low run-out brass that I keep track of for matches and such. Your brass will tell you when its done... just watch for the signs.
