My 455 never quite equalled the praise they often receive in terms of accuracy. While certainly a lesser rifle in terms of fit/finish, my Savage BTVS was a more accurate shooter than the CZ -and neither compared to my factory barreled Sako Quad.
I think I've migrated what some might consider 'backwards' in terms of steel preferences. I used to like S30V but have come to prefer 154cm as I can give it a quick 10 second sharpening in the field and be back in business whereas I'm not nearly as efficient in sharpening the S30V. The only...
-uppity ammo. I had a 455, briefly, and at the price of ammo I was willing to spend up to (WMT), it wasn't as consistently accurate as my Quad so it found a new home. I have no doubt that with $20/box ammo that 455 would have likely done better but that exceeded my threshold. Some folks...

That. I've had a number of people tell me their suppressor/rifle combo is "absolutely hearing safe" and when I finally get a chance to shoot it, my ears are ringing for at least an hour afterwards. You'll generally find that there are a lot of people who, after spending the money and waiting...
