Re: AR in 6.5 Grendel I highly recommended against (as does Hornady) using a Hornady A-max on anything larger than antelope ....personally I wouldn't use it for that either...but that's another discussion ... at the recommendation of someone whomever I thought should know about these...
Re: best value in all around aftermarket ar15 trigger I am going to dissent here...I've never been in favor of a two stage trigger for 3 gun or any type of hurry up shooting...just personal preference...nothing against all the Geissele love here...they just don't make a single stage trigger...

Re: Other than 556 are they worth it? As you can see..there are not very many options out there..haha... My vote is for the 6.5 Grendel ... about the same recoil as a .556 but much high BC bullet could show significant benefits in the wind at the ranges you are talking about. Very good...
Re: best southpaw AR? I have owned several Stag Arms guns and I've been well pleased with them ...I hear ERA is selling a lefty model now too but I don't know much about it...Stag has been making the best for the longest though.

Re: What constitutes reliable cycling? 300BLK I haven't had the chance to load up any of my own subs, but the factory Remington subs I have shot will not cycle in my gun. they were 220gn...So maybe there is some credance to different powder used making a difference in cylcling reliability...

Re: Decent inexpensive single stage mil triggers ar15? Here's a second vote for a Bill Springfield trigger...probably the best stock configuration you can buy...first choice would be a JP trigger with the lighter trigger spring (about 4 lbs) they are awesome but not very cheap.

Re: Timney or geissele . Personally I don't prefer a two stage trigger on my ARs so the Geissele is out for me and I have heard less than stellar things about the Timney(also heard tons of Cudos)...So I went with a JP Enterprises, is it came highly recommended by someone who used one for a...

Re: Stag Arms Model 3G? I'd say it's a pretty good bargain ...compare it to the colt 3 gun...they are virtually identical and the Stag is $400-$500 cheaper. Stag makes good stuff... I've owned 3 at one point or another.
