    Lets be honest..

I believe that a rifle as good or better can be had for less money if you do a build. better is very subjective though. though an AI and a TRG are both nice rifles, neither are perfect for ME. I would go custom all day.

Gunsmithing Any fixing this or scrap metal

I hadn't seen this thread, but i bought this action. I do not have a lathe, but I think i can "fix" it. My intent is to file the action as square as possible, use a standard recoil lug as i will be making a stock for it. I will use a take off barrel. as for the rail screw i will mount a full...

    Off-centered scope

Is it that the entire scope is offset or that the front is off to one side? If the entire scope is offset it could cause an issue, otherwise it won't be. If in fact the entire scope is off center i would have my windage zeroed at the longest range i shoot. this would mean that anywhere within...

    .22 magnum - Newbie

My grandpa worked one of the main ammo manufacturers and he told me they had a hard time making an accurate round for the .22 mag. Are you guys able to get decent accuracy out of these? I myself would prefer a small centerfire that i can reload than a 22 mag if accuracy is important.
