Laminate flooring as a bench surface?

Yes absolutely you can glue or nail.. I just had it put down on a slab so mine is floating. Love it and it comes in many colors/shades.. I have some left over and thinking of using it as a top myself but my project is much further down the road than yours.

Laminate flooring as a bench surface?

Read up on Bamboo.. it's compression strength is stronger than steel and it's thicker than laminate. Completely natural, nothing to delaminate etc.. Gary

Laminate flooring as a bench surface?

I think you could go with Bamboo which is extremely hard but not impossible to scratch.. I'm sure you could coat it with something to further protect.

    Double Tap 40 Super Brass

For those who load 40 Super what is your opinion on Double Tap brass for this caliber? I prefer Starline which uses the small primer but Double Tap's 40 super brass uses large primers. I've read this caliber has suffered from primer flow but I'm hoping that was early in its development...

case prep for bottle necked pistol cartridges

Did you just use the 9mm M die? Thanks for that info.. I may give it a shot.

case prep for bottle necked pistol cartridges

Thanks.. the 9X25 is what I load for and seems to be fairly picky on case prep. Gary

case prep for bottle necked pistol cartridges

For those who reload cartridges such as 357 Sig, 9X25 Dillon, 40 Super etc.. Do you prep your brass similar to rifle brass and chamfer the inside mouth or do you bell like with straight walled cases? Seems the brass is much thinner so would not support inside chamfering. Just curious...

Sidearms & Scatterguns I Need Help Picking Out My New Pistol

10mm seems to be making somewhat of a comeback.. brass hard to find and G20s/29s selling well. I have 2 G20s and 2 G29s. One G20 is full sized and the other three are short frames. The SF models definitely feel better in my hand.

question on 357 sig vs magnum bullets

If you get a chance try a G29 in 10mm.. they are a joy to shoot even though subcompact. I have two both in SF, one dedicated for 10 and the other 9X25.

question on 357 sig vs magnum bullets

The 10mm is great but after I shot my 9X25 Dillon I was in love.. It's pretty much a given if you like the 357 Sig you'll love the 9X25 Dillon.. When you're ready to put on your big boy underwear start playing with the 40 Super.

    primers

Maybe because the small rifle primer has a thicker cup.. however I shoot them in my Glock 21 (40 super conversion) and never had an issue.

    primers

I agree with Eddie.. I shoot 40 super which is prone to primer flow. Using small rifle primers instead of small pistol primers reduces this because the small rifle primer has a thicker cup but still dimensionally the same.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Glock 21 in 40 Super

Shot the 40 super yesterday for the first time. Lone Wolf barrel, 22lb recoil spring with 10 round single stack mag.. Geesh this thing is a hand cannon and I did not load em hot. 15 grains of Blue Dot with 135 Nosler JHP running around 1660fps. I thought the 9X25 Dillon was snappy until I...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Picked up a new FNH FN Five Seven

Definitely a pain and will try your patience. You need a chamber gauge to help or use the barrel from the pistol to ensure you're resizing correctly. The blowback design stretches the hell out of the brass so lot of work to get it back and I don't expect more than 3-5 reloads before brass is done.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Picked up a new FNH FN Five Seven

See my post #7 above.. If your friend removed the lacquer coating on the brass then that is why he's having extraction problems. It's there just for that reason. Unless you've been reloading for a long time, it can be a very challenging round to reload.

    .260 brass forming

You'll most likely have to turn your necks if you use 308 brass. 7mm-08 brass or neck up 243. I've shot necked down 7mm-08 with no issues and recently necked up a batch of 243 but not yet loaded them.
