Does anyone know if the ESS can use other MDT stocks? I'm guessing no, but maybe there are plans to allow this? Love the ESS, but I REALLY like the buttstock that comes with their TAC-21 chassis - was hoping I'd be able to use the TAC-21 stock on the ESS...

I give Nightforce props for introducing the 2.5-10x42 - that's a great scope. I just wish they'd offer more FFP options in the $1.5K-$2.5K price range. The latest FFP offerings from Vortex and Steiner are going to be Nightforce killers...

I understand people's frustration, but I'd rather be patient and wait for an awesome product (at a really affordable price) than have them release something prematurely that isn't ready yet - just for the sake of meeting a deadline. And FFS, it's still September... I waited fucking 4 or 5 YEARS...

I'm really hoping this scope comes to market - would be the perfect scope for a semi-auto precision gun. I'd buy one for my SCAR in a heartbeat.

Savage has the right idea - not only do they offer heavier barrel profiles, but also offer them in popular precision chamberings - not sure why Remington doesn't get it...

I see lots of pics of MK13 Mod 5s, but I know very little about the very first variants of this rifle - does anyone know the specs of the earliest Mods? Also, when they entered service? Are these MK13 Mod 1s? (on the left)

Does anyone know if Medium Nightforce rings will be enough for the bell to clear the upper receiver on a SCAR? Or will higher rings be necessary?
