    $5 Bolt knob

I'm thinking the same. If one can make a mold of different shape that you can clamp on to the bolt and then fill it up with epoxy.

I have a Lyman DPS II, Bought it use and not sure how old it was when I got them. Send it to Lyman for repair twice and both was repaired at no charge. First trouble, I forgot to turn it off and left it on for a couple of days and won't reset. The second time, it won't zero. Tell RCBS that...

    Who the leader in 168's?

For 168, I'll opt for Nosler Comp. They're more consistent in weight and very accurate with my 12 twist PacNor SuperMatch 3 grove barrel. Another option for the heavier weight will be the 178 grain A-Max. It shoot just as well as the 168 Nosler Comp in my rifle.

Gunsmithing Frozen bolt..... I really did this time

Your not the only one. Same thing happen with my 6.5-284 Norma. Install 2 allen screw, grind and then silver solder.

    Forgive me if this has been covered but;

I can use either one in my 6.5-47 and both were just as accurate. As a matter of fact I bought an 8 lb IMR since I have a hard time finding the Hodgdon. I'm down to about 4 lbs so once I run out and can't find any, I will start using IMR.

    Deburring the flash hole.

This is a process that you only do once. It won't hurt. Lapua and Norma don't need it. US made brass definitely need it.

Ladder test for .338 Lapua, need help.

Why not just tried using the recommended load above and be done with it. It seems like they're proven load.

    338 Lapua Improved?????

Yup! 98.7 grains of Retumbo is probably smoking. I was not able to load above 95 grains until after around 2000 rounds went through my barrel.

7wsm With 69gr of H1000 Under a 180 Berger Anyone Running This Load

I use 65 grains of reloader 25, a much slower powder than H1000 and I'm getting over 3 K in velocity. Word of caution. If I were you, I'll develop my own load. Don't trust anyone else reload or data for that matter. And yes! that includes the former owner of the rifle. Remember you are the one...

    OCW...the new buzz word?why?

My approach is different. A load that won't group at 100 yards is worthless to me. My 338 Lapua Ackley with 95 grains of Retumbo and 300 SMK will shoot one ragged hole at 100 meters like the 5 shot group in the picture. And it will kept 20 rounds all clustered together at 1000 yards.

    OCW...the new buzz word?why?

Don't know Steve. My 308 is a pig of a rifle. Nothing special, just a Remmy with 3 grove 12 twist Pac-Nor Supermatch MTU contour in AICS. Tried this 168 grain Berger Vld... just pick a load out of the blue and it will do this. Maybe this is worth pursuing also. Here's a 10 shot group with...
