I have been dying the mark 5 scope as well, i see you can get the horus, the tmr and a couple others, does anyone have any recommendation for a reticle that would be a good usable upgrade in place of the tmr that I've been using

I'm looking for a new scope I'm snagging another rifle, the bergara B14 HMR I really respect and speciation the opinions from lowlights and others so I'm open to suggestions I currently use leupold MK4 with the tmr, noon illuminated on most of my bolt rifles the 8.5-25x50 M1 is my favorite...

That's what I was thinking about doing, 8 5-25x50 But I'm not find of the turrets, I just got used to my M1 turrets, I'm fast , familiar, and Good with them

what is the best way to anneal, and would i do the annealing before or after the resizing? i am assuming before i wish i had neck sizing dies.... i think it would be much easier on the brass

how many reloads can i expect to get from .338 lapua brass just in general, i know this varies with loads

what loads are you guys using, i have 100 once fired lapua brass i am thinking about reloading with some 285 hornadys

buy the savage, just as accurate, and use the 1700 dollar savings to sling more lead

Re: base and ring chices for 338 crap!, i did some digging, and both scopes have only 70 moa of elevation! the elr scope has a ffp, easier for ranging at any powwer, but the crosshairs would be too large at full zoom i do believe, they do get kind of thick, they both have the tmr reticle...

I have the savage 338 LM HS precision rifle I also have the leupold 8.5-25X50 FFP Extended range tactical, as well as the 8.5-25X50 LRT scope, but i believe the ERT has more elevation adjustment available, and am looking for a set of rings and a base I would like to have a 1-200 yard zero...

Re: Barrett bors system are there low cost or free phone aps that get you close? I use data cards i made up for myself and they work well, just thinking it would be cool to have something like jbm on my phone
