Is norma brass any good? How does it compare to Lapua? I need some good brass and I cant find Lapua. Will I even notice a difference in a regular SPS rifle?

Can anyone tell me what size shell holder I need for the "new" .338 Norma mag case? I tried a #14 RCBS which I use on my .338 Lapua and it will not work. I called Redding and they said to use #14 and it doesn't work! Also called Sinclair they don't know either. Tom Sarver

Lapua 243 was historically the best bang for the buck. Now that it's risen to basically the same price as Norma / Nosler 260 Remington, is that still the case? Mike

I am thinking about a new rifle build in 6.5 284 NORMA, I will be using it for competition as well as hunting. Toying with two stocks, one for each application, single stage set trigger, Shilen match barrel, all on a FN mauser action with side safety. Lets hear ya'lls thoughts.

Can you get the 6.5 x 284 norma to function well as a repeater in a short action? The reason I ask is a buddy has a LRPV that needs a new barrel and hed love to screw a 6.5 x 284 on but only if it will still function as a repeater with his detachable mag. I dont know how long the mag box is...
