Has anybody tried the new 6MM Nosler CC bullet? http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=495190 How does it shoot? Does it stabilize in a 1x9? They are advertising it as having a BC of .593. That has to be BS. What BC did it actually exhibit for you...
I'm new to long range shooting. Was wondering if there was a big enough difference between Nosler and Sierra. In this case a 168gr Match BTHP 308 bullet. your thoughts are appreciated
Did some searches that came up with nada. I have read in various places that nosler brass is shit. Others say its GTG. What are your experiences with it? I live close to their factory and would make things very convenient. I am looking at 300wm brass. Will RWS ever be available in the states...
Anybody try the Nosler Custom Competition factory 2nds in 168 grain from Shooters Pro Shop? They're not that much cheaper really, but are available. Custom Competitions seem to shoot as well as SMKs in my 700 SPS Tactical. Thanks, Sherlok
any of you had good luck with these in a Remy 700 police ? I uncertain what the twist is. It is a stainless model but not a 5r just plain jane 700p but stainless all the way around
Found one 250 pack of Nosler 168BT match bullets for $70, sounds like a bargain especially since nothing else is available in local market and when they were, $39 for Sierra 175BTHP 100 pack. Guess they will fly straight and the price is good but anyone used or using them? Thanks
I had some Nosler BTs that I traded for come today. They are 180gr .308s. My dad uses some BTs in .223 in his Browning A-Bolt and they were very accurate out to 200 yards- which is as far as he tried to shoot. Has anyone used these through their .308? Are they just a hunting bullet or do they...
Does anyone have any experience with this bullet? I'll be shooting them through my 20" Colt heavy barreled AR15. I would like to run RL-15 in them because Im using that powder to load .308 as well so I have a bunch of it. There is a load for it in the Nosler book, but was wondering what you...
Has anybody tried these yet? They are listed on Midway now but there is no info on Nosler's website yet or a least anything that I can find. It lists the BC as .593 on Midway, this has got to be a misprint, lie or a dream come true if they will shoot worth a crap. This is a better BC than any...
So I have had these loads sitting in the gun room for 8 months or so and finally got around to shooting them . The loads were .308 Winchester Brass , CCI BR-2 primers , 155 Nosler custom competition bullets loaded with 46.0 , 46.5 and 47.0 grains of Varget . 46 grains poked out at about 2890 fps...
I'm looking for a load with Nosler 150gr JHP and using Titegroup. My Nosler book does not have Titegroup in it. I'd be using CCI 400's if I can ever find any.
Just wondering if anybody on here has tried or is using this bullet. Looking for an alternate dual purpose load (hunting/target) like the 178 gr. A-Max I'm using.
Working up a load for my 7mm SAUM. Elk and whitetail will be hunted with this. Trying to decide on bullet for the elk. Barnes tripple shock, berger (i dont know much about this one), and accubond. Any comments or suggestions will be appreciated.
I ran across some Nosler competition match or something like that in 175gr. I've never used these before. Any one know anything about these. Ballistic Coefficient?
Lapua 243 was historically the best bang for the buck. Now that it's risen to basically the same price as Norma / Nosler 260 Remington, is that still the case? Mike
