I was told that the bolt carrier assembly for DPMS' 308 will work in an Armalite AR-10. Is this correct? What about Knights SR-25 carrier assembly....will that work int he Armalite as well? Steve

So, i read a lot about different types of bedding (which i really don't know much about, i only have AR precision rifles) and i am curoius to how each works? Like, i know what epoxy bedding is, but how do you "glass bed" or "pillar bed"? Thanks.

I know the 9mm caliber conversion will work with 40S&W but I wonder if it will work with 38spl and .357mag. They are a little bigger than the 40. The 40S&W is .424 and .357mag is .440 width so I expect no but thought I would ask and see if anyone has tried it. But I bet the 40S&W caliber...

Well, I've decided to perform work on 1911's to compliment my rifle builds. This will include complete custom 1911 builds and re-finishing. I just finished a complete tear down, clean and re-finish on this Para-Ordinance 1911. Flat Black and Flat Dark Earth KG Gun Kote.

Figured out how I'd put a knob on a Savage. I can make it any length you want, and can even make it sweep back slightly. What do you think?

Is it necessary to lap the i.d. bore on a Rem 700 when blue printing the action. IF so, where does one go about getting the mandrel for the action and what grit compound would be best? thanks
