Looking to acquire a Harris bipod for my Rem 700 .300WSM. Which model is the most appropriate for controlled long range shooting? Thanks for any feedback.

Re: 700 .300WSM BiPod

Jerseymike is spot on, but I've found it also depends on how low you can comfortably get, and the terrain you are shooting in. In our local matches we sometimes shoot across a small valley at targets elevated 10-15 degrees above the shooter. Also, I'm 6'4" and 265 lbs; I can't get as low as some of my 5'8" 150 lb. friends :) As a result, I prefer the Harris 9-13" swivel/notched leg with KMW pod-loc.

chops/jersey - thanks for the info...i'm 6'3" so the 9-13" seems to make more sense. thanks again.
