Active Shooter in El Paso???

The thing is shootings like this don’t happen all the time. They just get blasted on all channels for at least a week mainly for political purposes.

I couldnt tell you how many people die everyday because they are lard asses. Compared to murders it is probably 10,000 to 1 and maybe higher than that. Never here it on the news. Nothing political to gain from it b

I also found this pretty odd:

"‘Please stay away from the area and refrain from posting first responder activity on social media,’ the ATF’s Dallas bureau tweeted on Saturday. "

It seems the new thing the government types are pushing pretty hard is "good citizens" shouldn't be taking pictures of what their masters are doing.... A rather disturbing trend they are pushing.
That's funny (strange) because when shit goes down they request video from anyone who thinks they have something. They also left the bodies in place so they could do a thorough investigation for 10 hours seems a little excessive to me.

The whole thing is terrible all the way around. There’s no way to prevent someone from doing bad things with whatever tool they choose. We have always negated the effectiveness of our enemies by reducing the impact of their attack. The most basic example would be, when out on patrol always have distance between each other or in other words don’t put all your eggs in one basket. The same goes for equipment, shelter and whatever is important to you. If you look at the evolution of tactics and equipment used by these shooters you see there getting better and better. They may be rudimentary by a lot of our standards but there evolving. The problem is we are not evolving on the defensive end. An example is I have evaluated private company active shooter plans and there are huge flaws in their design. I will not mention any specifics but with a little planning, firearm and tactics training most of which you can get off the web the death toll could be in the hundreds. If we don’t start addressing the problem one day someone will do it and that’s when the public will have had enough and demand action and you know what that will mean.

The major flaw in their active shooter plans is that they prohibit the carriage of any weapons on company property which turns it and everyone there into soft targets.

These aren’t gun free zones but criminal protection zones (CPZ).

Preventable medical malpractice deaths each year = 250,000 people...

Folks wonder why whenever some useful idiot starts shitting out their mouths about the "horrors of gun violence", it takes almost all of my energy and self restraint not to bitch slap them right back into last week...
Dr. Tyson got his ass ripped for pointing out that I'm going to paraphrase that every 48 hours 500 medical mistakes dead 200 vehicle deaths occur etc. And the left has no problem with killing babies after birth and making us pay for it. But we have to save the assholes on death row I'm slightly confused about their intentions. But they want emergency session with Congress and still have not fixed the border problems why? We do actually know but they think that we are ignorant hence why Trump was elected and they still don't get it so who is ignorant?

I worked on RR we were not supposed to carry. Out at night mostly stupid o'clock in the morning bad parts of town Maybe a mile plus from the engine no way to get to me quickly in the event of problems. The next time you watch a train look at the engines (locomotives) apparently some think they are for target practice. However they all have bullet resistant glass that is approved by the FRA that will stop a. 22 caliber probably from a handgun would be my guess
If nothing weird happens on your shift it would be a weird day

I like the Israeli model. If you commit an act of terror your home or your family home will be bulldozed down. Your assets or your family assets will be confiscated. In this case his grandparents home is flattened for bums to pick through and their life savings are gone. Don't keep stupid motherfuckers in your house even if they are family.

Anyone that is in support of any unconstitutional law or act is at best naive, at worst mentally defective, crazy, and or lacking what it takes to be a lawful citizen in a free society. When/if the shit starts I will not allow any red flag supporter to be armed in my presence. I have the right of being innocent till found guilty by a jury of my peers. I already have enough stuff hidden at enough locations to simply hand over “what I got” if I find myself in a compromised or massively outnumbered situation. I’m not a easy person to surprise though, and more brainwashed idiots that want to agree with violating anyone’s rights, especially those outlined in the constitution and bill of rights, just drive me to scout out more locations further away. If we were dependent on people like you then America would already be a lost cause.

Lol, I'm with u. I hope u didnt quote my earlier post in reference to me being a red flag supporter. Check the post right before the one I just quoted of yours.

70+ people were shot and 40+ died this weekend and last weekend and most weekends in Chicago!!
Sorry, the politicians can't make money or headlines from black on black violence.

Yep, I check the stats every Monday. There have been a few on the same block this year. It is fucking unbelievable. It has surpassed LA gang war back in the day. Sort of like tracking baseball stats.

Um? Most people consider Bernie Sanders a socialist and or communist.

Are you just yanking my crank?

Traditionally first thing they try to do is disarm the public.

Would probably be ww3 before all said and done.

I don't think you get aj at all.
He is just stirring the pot of shit.

Imho

I'm going to go out on a limb and say your chain has been yanked by AJ. Reckon he'll want to be paid in ammo for the pleasure he gave you

What's lost in all the talk concerning this is the fact Mueller , indicating he didn't even write his own report, and our country is in the midst of a high crimes and treason coup conducted by and abetted by both political corporations.

If we don't see some handcuffs soon, I fear vigilante justice shooters will replace the nutball shooters. Tensions are high and being fed by the constant media barrage of leftist hate. What will the left do when they see a rainbow of colors gunning for them. They will claim it's those pesky rainbow supremacist's. Real Justice is the only thing that has a chance of stopping it. But real justice is not looking very real right now. God help us all if it blows.

We have to cut AJ a break this week... he was traumatized by that big ammo warehouse explosion in Russia.

He is sitting shaved-head and Buddha-like in his hooch with his back to the door continually repeating “the horror... the horror”

Cheers, sirhr

No there won't be vigilante justice.

That would be the end of everything.

The protected class will run into there fortifications and beat on us using the newly created "security class".

The disdain for "the little people" is nothing new.

Bostons Brahmins built a castle for themselves and outfitted it with Winchesters intending to kill "little people"

The country will be composed of the low class, security class and the 1%.

But yes, yes we need to restore faith in the justice system.

One of my old Chiefs had a bunch of funny and very true sayings. Many of which I still use to this day. One of his favorites was "you never truly know a woman until you meet her in court"

You are also forgetting that in a court of law, the Trier of Fact can determine who is more credible. In other words, it is one person's word against another.

The accused is also not charged with a crime. So it is doubtful they would ever get a court appointed attorney if they could not afford one.

So AFAIK, they would have to hire an attorney or appear pro se with a County Prosecutor as opposing counsel.

Given that most court appointed attorneys don't have a good track record the accused may not get a very spirited defense in court. Judges and attorneys laugh at pro se litigants.

So it comes down to one person's word against another's. Let that sink in. The Judge determines who is telling the truth without any supporting testimony or corroborating evidence. I've even seen judges refuse to let certain pieces of evidence admitted and prohibit witnesses from testifying. So it can come down to he said she said.

Put an anti-gun female judge on the bench with an angry estranged wife on the stand as the accuser and the poor guy may not stand much of a chance. Ask me how I know this stuff.

That is one of the most profound statements I've ever read. Your old Chief must have been a genius.

My old chief was old and wise like yours, it sounds. Laotian and was pretty much buzzed most times you'd see him but would drop gems like that all the time.

It’s a tragedy. And it’s sad the Democrats are blaming trump for some crazy persons actions

The Dayton killer was a supporter of Elizabeth Warren.

By using the leftist logic, then we can place the blame for the deaths in Dayton squarely on Elizabeth Warren.

Once again... we see that a warning was given. And nothing was done.

Hardly. She called to ask questions about his gun. The attorney for the Mom point blank said she called with question about the gun and the call wasn't prompted by any concerns of a threat.

I find it highly suspect that she claims she even made this phone call, seems she's trying to take some of the heat off of her and place it at the feet of law enforcement. Police say there is no record of her calling. The police have nothing to gain by not admitting she called to ask questions about a legal firearm, but she has LOTS to gain by turning the focus off of her in any amount by coming up with this story. It just wreaks of attorney CYA tactics.

Was thinking some more about this... what mother calls the police to ask about her sons gun... unless she thinks something hinkey is up?

I mean... the kid was 21 or 22... if he was interested in the shooting sports, would that not be, say, a topic of dinner conversation? A ‘hey mom, I went to a range today and really enjoyed it and may take up sport shooting!” “That’s nice dear.”

That is how one would think a topic related to one’s new fire arms interest or purchase might come up, don’t you think?

Instead, mom calls police (maybe) to ask questions about her son’s new AK-clone? If it happened, regardless of the ‘questions’ doesn’t one think that an eyebrow might be raised? Is policing now so disconnected from society that an officer does not simply say “tell you what, I’ll stop by and chat and maybe I can give your son a few pointers on safety, storage and ranges?” A short visit would make mom feel better and let someone eyeball the situation. No need for turning anything into a major case... just a short visit. In this day and age... shouldn’t this have gotten the police built-in spideybsense tingling??

Maybe I’m still thinking like the small town Barney Fife I was... never worked the big city. Maybe no one gives a crap or is allowed to follow something like that on a hunch or informally.

But wouldn’t a call like that pique at least a little interest? Whose mom calls the police to ask questions when their kid buys a gun... if they don’t have a concern?

To gunmans point... that assumes the call was made at all. Guess the jury is still out on that. But if any call was made... even to ask simple questions, shouldn’t that have made someone say “probably nothing, but worth driving over to talk to mom and suss thing out for myself.”

Must be that the ‘not my job’ mentality is stronger in cities than here in Mayberry. Where being a neighbor and an officer was the job.

I’m probably living in 1955... what can I say.

Sirhr

@Sirh.
I think the mother is covering her ass due to the mob mentality of the web.
It should be pretty easy to verify that the call was made. But it looks like the question may have been very vague and not even raised an eyebrow considering it is Texas.
