Looking at purchasing my first NV scope, is there any reason why someone should stay clear of it? Looks like it offers tons of quality and features for the money.. anything in that sub 1,000 range that would offer better performance for the money? thanks alot

only thing I found that looks GTG as far as 'honest opinion' of the 4k pro .
A ton of inboard options is great advertisment, but in actual real life when your hunting . It Is glitter superficial Fluff . What really counts is your image quality and if you can count on your POI being at your set zero ' every time ' you take it out in the field and pull the trigger . all the rest over that is just bait to suck you into a turd .

Is there a go to optic or clip on option for the sub $1,000 mark that’s tried and true? Just want to get something good for the money to start with.
