Gunsmithing Feed ramp altercations

I want to build a 260 projecton on a 700.I have a older short action in 222.I have several bolts so the boltface is a quick fix.How much trouble is it to open up a feed ramp so the larger round will feed properly?Thanks in advance.

You'd be surprised what can happen during a projection.
