I'm just disappointed that I'm only gonna get one "payment" of MY money back.

Arts endowment will still get their (yours and my taxes) 500m.

The check won't be enough to purchase NV stuff, so I'll still be a poor. Well, there is that ATN stuff, but even as a poor, I'll pass.

It will be enough to buy a new Bighorn action, so there's that. ?

Not only welfare but 95% of .gov “jobs”
Pretty sure that the government paying people exorbitant amounts of money to NOT work is the definition of "welfare". We could probably axe the 95% of federal jobs you mention and not notice. Seriously...if the Post Office went under the only difference is no more junk mail in my "shred" bin.

Cereal talk: Truly educating the poors on condoms or birth control would severely help. Impoverished people making more impoverished people isnt usually a good recipe.
If 2 poors made only 1 baby poor, the math works; if 2 poors make 9 baby poors, the system slowly cracks under the weight and eventually crumbles.

Funny enough as it sounds, there is a reason for this.

The destruction of the nuclear family unit has been a mainstay of Progressives / Communists / Democrats for a long time.
There is a huge amount of social propaganda aimed at keeping people from making stable families or keeping together once they make one.

For thousands of years human societies took care of the "teen pregnancy" issue, primarily through enforcing such horrible dated concepts such as not having sex before marriage and getting young people married off right around about the time their desire and ability to procreate was peaking.
Breaking apart your family was also a very strong social taboo in all but the most extreme circumstances.
Marriage, child raising, working, elder care, producing the next generation, making things better for your descendants, were taught as your responsibility.

Back in my Grandparent's day, you could graduate high school and go out and get a job if you were willing to work where one income could pay for your family to live fine if simply, and that's what my Grandfather and grandmother did. Today that is very difficult or impossible to do.

You'll also notice an additional war being raged on the "Extended family", which is what societies for thousands of years used to help the extended family unit prosper. Now you have to pay for things like child care, elder care, in huge amounts that used to be essentially a free communal service of your extended family.

Strong nuclear families and their supporting structures of extended families / clans have the ability to ride out a lot of what would destroy single households and those unattached.

Once again this is a game plan that has been in place long before any of us were born and once again it serves the ultimate goal of wanting a mass of easily controlled, weak, unrooted, ill prepared sheeple as the primary populace who can easily be controlled / coerced by the Global Elites into "voting the right way" so they can eventually run the world because "they know best". Folks like Bloomberg aren't even coy about their plans that the rich elites have a "right and responsibility" to tell everyone else what to do.

Take for example the "Minority" community, go back to the civil rights era when they were fighting the oppressive democrats, you'll see the minorities had strong family units, great individual pride and a strong work ethic and a fair bit of unity in purpose of their kind.

So the Democrats got scared and put in place a very successful plan to destroy the minorities by destroying the family unit. They used "benefits" to do this and within two generations largely succeeded in making those same minorities they were fighting into their paid support base to keep them in power.
Welfare moms, gun control, flooding the street with drugs, making small business difficult, police oppression etc. was all part of the game plan.

That same plan has been moved out to the rest of society just changed and updated with tons more propaganda to make the young and stupid think it's their idea and their "freedom".

Go look around you now and see how many young people that you say should "wait" are actually working on buying houses, establishing savings, paying off cars and working to be able to have a stable prosperous family with children and actual ownership of things.....

Most rent with no hope or idea of ever buying, spend all their money on the here and now "Experiences", never outright own a vehicle, have minimal savings, have no plans to marry and settle down to raise a family.

I bought a house at 25ish and had paid off vehicles as well. From my extended family as well as my friends extended families, just about none of the next generation in their 20s are anywhere close to buying a house, most also don't have any plans to start a family either.

Why also do you think the idea of being a single mother has been pushed as some virtue or great option for more "freedom" and the courts have been used to make that super easy by telling women they don't need a husband, just pop out some kids and we'll get you free money either by enslaving the father to provide you free money with no strings attached for you, or getting the government to pay for you.

The war on fathers was started two generations ago and is now at full critical mass. Women were used as the best ever agents of Communism and Elite rule, to destroy the family unit under the propaganda of "being free" or "equality" or "women's rights", all they actually got was husks and the right to murder their own babies and live lonely miserable bitter lives as they got older. They did their job well as the front line of the Communists.

One of the best posts Ive seen on this site.... And so true.

As the family goes, so goes the nation, and so goes the whole world in which we live.” – St. John Paul II

God Bless us all.

So now with most schools off for at least the next few months or the rest of the school year, do I get 60%+ of the property taxes I have to pay for everyone's little fuck trophies to go there, back?

Why can't the poors pay for their own kids to go to school?

What...you wouldn't be able to afford it? Well then don't have some many fucking kids. You don't go to the store, load up your cart with shit you can't afford and then look at everyone else to pitch in at the register do you? Same fucking thing.

But..but..but..its a public service where you're helping educate them for the future. Fuck your kids and fuck their future. Give me the option and I'd opt out of both. Statistically all they are going to achieve is to disappoint everyone anyways.

If people actually had to pay for shit they did, we'd live in a smaller, better community rather than in this cesspool of "I want to live my best life' bullshit that you can't fucking afford.

I went through ours a year or two ago.

Line by line, not trying to find anything I agreed with, but rather to find anything we actually fucking used. We don't have Fire/LEO on ours (if we do its in some kind of 'general fund') but the only thing I found, on the entire fucking list, was something like $75 a year for mosquito abatement.

That's it. We're paying thousands upon thousands of money in property taxes to benefit from $75 of pest control. That sums up government and how we subsidize being poor, pretty well.

I think it depends more on where you live.

For example, my brother who lives in the suburbs of Chicago (why, Ill never understand) pays almost $12k a year in property taxes for a 2100sq ft house. It's a nice middle class house, but nothing special.

Meanwhile, in UT, my house is almost 3 times the size, yet I pay less than 1/4 of what he does. If I had this house in the Chicago suburbs, we'd probably have a $50k property tax bill.

Ours are pretty low. But you will be hard pressed to find anyone willing to sell.
So there's that also.

Sound theory, but the problem stems from the coorelation between public/social programs and the tax revenue needed for them.

Public/social bullshit programs = poors. So if you have high property and other taxes, chances are there are already a ton of poors in your area because how else are you going to pay for all those life long losers?

You are mostly correct.

Around here some of the older and richer small suburb cities with very high property values have less taxes percentage wise than the middle class cities where the working folks have to support tons of poors / on assistance type.

That cuz y’all have to have big nice football stadiums over there
Yep, when one city builds a $60 million high school football stadium that turns into about $80 million in cost, well the next city has to plan a $90 million one that will cost $110 million.

I mean they can't have their high school kids playing in squalor can they?

I'd prefer it actually if we kicked sports totally out of schools, including colleges all together.
Then cut the costs for both taxes and tuition to match the budget that is being saved.

The biggest problem in my area is stupid renters & apartment dwellers, they are happy to vote in any new tax increase / bond debt because they don't care as far as they know it's free stuff.... then later they bitch at the landlords about being evil and raising the rent.

I agree 100%. I don’t mind sports, but our schools focus to much on it and spend WAY to much on it. And your right about the renters/AD they are all about voting in shit “for the kids”. They will mind it when their rent starts going up every year to cover it

This was on purpose. Hell, I got pissed when it went up like $70 in a year. If it wasn't required you to be mormon to run for anything here, I'd run on the sole platform of going through every single tax we pay at the city/county level and figuring out what needs to be done to drastically reduce it or make it go away entirely.

When we were allowed to basically pick where we wanted to move, one of the parameters was fucking the poors out of as much tax money as I could.

Don't worry though, we still pay multiple times the average US salary in just income taxes.

So this has me thinking.

How much is a poor worth? Like, per poor.

Seeing as how I pay a metric amount of taxes and poors are subsidized via these taxes; doesn't that translate into me basically paying for poors? And if I'm paying for them, I own them, right?

So whats the average cost per poor? I'm betting I could field at least a company or battalion of poors at this point.

Yeah that shit ran rampent during the brief time during high school when I lived outside of Chicago (and hated every minute of it).

There were schools like Stevenson High that had stadiums for games, across from a practice field/complex. I remember when I went on a college trip to the University of Texas in Austin and thinking their practice complex wasn't as nice as some of the highschools in our area. Hell, fucking Lake Forest had a fucking equestrian team.

Only poors use debit cards.

The rest of us enjoy 3-5% off of everything we buy and pay the card off every month.
Exactly!

That's a biggest difference, besides laziness, is the poors use credit to rack up debt while the non-poors use it to make more money.

Hell, if you're not actively looking for ways to leverage loans to make you money with the current fed rates your clueless.

The welfare/gimmedats lives have not changed a single bit. Well they may have a tough time finding asswipe. But in reality what has changed? They still don't have to go to work. They can sleep all day. They get free housing. Free food. Free health care. But they are going to be demanding their check.
Of course it's going to be directly deposited into their account. Which BTW they have to have an ID for.

Ten percent is enough for god.

For .gov what is it 50 plus percent by the time you calculate tax fees hidden taxes and fees and all the stuff they add
10% is fine , but that all depends on the church you'd be going to... Go to church is like asking your mother what she thinks of you.... you'll get the answer you what but not what one you need
