I knocked my wife up and were having a boy!

We have two older girls (13 and 15) and decided that we were missing something and within a few years we were going to be alone with no kids running around.
She checked with her doctor and her doc said, "Your healthy and your not 40 (she's 38 pushing 39) so go for it".
So I knocked her up (couldn't help myself

)
We just went weds to ultrasound checkup and they asked if we wanted to know the sex of the baby, my wife responded "if you can see it", the tech said, "If we can see it??..., Honey, he's been proudly displaying it the entire time!!!!"
I asked how often they are wrong on their predictions and she said the new ultrasound machines are way better than the older ones.. She also said, "If this baby comes out as a girl then she will need major surgery to correct things!"
Am I proud?.......You betcha!
We've been laughing about what the techs/doctors have said ever since.
I just can't wait to teach him to pee on the bushes outside!

My boy is 5.5 months now and he is the greatest thing in my life. I love every minute with him. And I just found out yesterday that my wife is pregnant again! She wanted 2 boys, close in age and before she was 28.... looks like she got her wish. I am excited all over again! It's a great feeling

Congrats to both TheSmokeRolls and KYS338. My first daughter just had her 6 month shots 2 days ago. I've lost even more free time, but she is worth every minute of it. But I do know one thing, if I got my wife pregnant after only 5.5 months after having our first child, she would kill me or have me fixed. Best of luck to both of you.

My boy turned 2. We got pregnant at 38 and 35 years old. It's never too late! Congrats!

I knew an American Indian guy in the Navy from NY state named Printup (I think I spelled that correctly)and he always had a neat saying when others would make fun of him for having girls and no boys.
...He said; "It takes more of a man to blow the balls off and make a girl".....
He was a hoot to be around, neat guy.

Congrats, man. My wife and I are expecting our first the end of
October. Life will really be interesting then. I wont finish up nursing school till December, and I am already working 3 EMS jobs. I am the asst Director at my full time job, and work about 5-6 shifts a month at each of my other jobs. It will be worth it, though.

Yep, and once you teach him that he will go around peeing all over the place, any place. My son (9 now, but at the time of this incident 7) decided just outside the door of the building I was voting in the 08 election was just the place to whip it out and pee on a shrub. Had to have a little talk to him about WHERE he can pee outside and where its not a good idea to do so.

Congrats!!! I remember the first time me and my boy went shooting(and the first time he peed on the bushes) it was the best feeling in the world. Although my girls love to shoot to so im good to go all around lol... Enjoy every minute Smoke because as you already know with two girls they grow up way to fast.

Thats cool. Thanks for all the congrats and back-atcha with congrats to the news dads as well. I know this time around I feel like an old dad veteran. My wife and I are laughing alot and I'm rubbing her feet a bunch, we have been together for 20 years and dated before that. This time around we are a team and best friends. This time is probably going to be the best yet.

Congrats on the boy Smoke. I have a 10yr old girl and a 2yr old boy. They tear the absolute shit out of everything they touch but they are a blast. My son LOVES guns already. He is giving a standing ovation to the Reid built GAP.

The bottom pic is him firing his first live round down range out of my badger 243. Im trying to cultivate the ultimate shooting buddy here guys, I know he is probably too young but it seemed like the right thing to do at the time. Now every time I get a gun out of the safe he comes running saying "I go dada shoot it gun". It would melt your heart. My daughter is not into it. She likes Justin Bieber, and texting. Oh and I apologize in advance for the Cowboys onesey. Momma likes Dallas. We are all flawed in some way.
