Hey guys, new here. Recently acquired this. Don't know much about them other than that they're pretty rare. What can you tell me about mine? Comes with the fancy box, manual, and a piece of paper. Probably should have looked into it before dropping this kind of $. I was wanting to build an m40a3, don't know if its a problem using dials calibrated for the .50...Ive been told I would just need to make my own chart.

The paper reads:
"Unertl - USMC marked .50-caliber telescope with fixed 10 power (10%) Mil-Dot reticle. Part no. MST-150, "Special Purpose" for the USMC Barrett M82a1/a3 (SASR), NMM 1240-01-379-583" "The following serial number: 5301 was produced for the United States Marine Corp under contract number M67004-XX-P-0474. The contract was terminated before all the scopes were delivered. The serial number above has therefore been listed as "Surplus" and not subject to the restrictions of having been declared as "U.S. Government Property"

Thanks for all your guys' opinions!

How about making the pictures bigger so we can see them
I tried to ask the fellow above ... if he had the manual but no reply. Are you familiar with this scope? I am getting ready to mount the one I have on a .50. I am going slow with this. I understand a cam inside the scope changes its long range ability.

Well I finally mounted the Unertl on the Barrett .50 It shoots great and what a sight picture that scope gives. I love that scope. Its a real treasure. I am amazed at the clarity it gives even after a good deal of combat use.
