Guys I got a new rifle and caliber on its way. Just wandering what is the capabilities of this rig?
It is a Remington Sendero SFII IN 264WIN MAG.It has a fluted bull barrel and an H&S stock and I know the load range is from 80GR bullets up to 130 OR 140GR. Does anyone own one of these or this caliber that can tell me anything. Thanks
By the way the caliber is new to me for I have never owned one.

Re: New Rifle and NEW CALIBER

I've owned several 264 Win mags. in my life. What do you want to know? I can tell that performance is excellent, and barrel life is excitingly brief.

SouthPawShooter,

Like the Hunting cartridges it was designed to compete with the 257 Weatherby and 270 Weatherby. All use an improved H&H case that holds 82-84 grains of powder.

Designed for hunting, and the guy who uses 40 rounds a year. Then a barrel will last a long time.
