I can't remember where I saw it, but it seems that Congress is looking to honor the mathematical wizard ladies from NASA whom were depicted in the movie "Hidden Figures".

Anybody know about this? Some are passed on, some are at/around 100 years old, but there's still a few who did all that math WITHOUT/BEFORE computers. Says something right there. Lot to be said for SlipSticks.

what kind of math are we talking about here, calculus and shit? Or some simple adding and subtraction? I can do long multiplication in my head yo (well, used to at least).

Just the standard: 2x2cubed then multiplied by the hypotenuse of the square - root of the smell of the color 9. Then, extrapolate that using the Chef Boy-Are-Dee equation. Once that's completed then divide the quotient of the dangling participle by the cedilla. Take that sum and reduce it using either the OobeeWon-Kenobi Algorithm OR the Okeefenokee formula.

Simple stuff, really. I don't know why they even bothered inventing computers and stuff to do these mundane tasks. After all, it's only figuring out the controlled explosives to hurtle living beings out past the atmosphere, ensure they stay alive long enough to circle the earth a few dozen times, and fall back to earth in a spot small enough to prep the receiving party to actually be there to open the champagne cork.

They take longer to say this, in the movie. They gots paid a lot more for it, too. :D
