    Yep 👍 6 ft, holding 190, box heavyweight....yeah I’m a fatty
Good. That is how it should be. People shouldn't be fat. That is all I'm saying. Of course, I am also saying it mainly tongue in cheek.

No seriously, I should be boxing light heavyweight 😏 Damn COVID
Seriously, COVID was brutal on the fatness of America. Not talking about how heavy people suffered more from it, but about how much weight people have gained the last year. We can bitch and moan all we want about the virus and its effects, and the vaccine and its side effects, but arguably, more life years have been lost by Americans over their year of fattening than to the virus plus anything vaccine related.

The J&J vaccine didn't get "pulled"; a large
batch was scraped because the manufacturing plant (which is not a J&J facility) mixed a batch of J&J with a batch of AstraZeneca. Nice job, dickheads. Apparently, this plant's lack of process controls was known to Operation Warp Speed from the start, but they got the job anyways. Bet that it would be fun to pull up the donation history of the plant owners and see how that overlaps with members of the previous and current administrations.

This still still the vaccine candidate that I would prefer, but fuck-ups aside, it may still be difficulty to find in my state as it's being allocated towards those who may not come back around for a second dose (homeless, shut-ins, etc.). I have little interest in receiving the mRNA vaccines - cool technology, very interesting approach to treating a variety of other diseases, but doesn't fit my personal risk/benefit profile in this specific situation.

Yea, couldn't remember off the top of my head which it was. I already had covid and it wasn't bad so I can't imagine getting a vaccine for a virus that was mediocre in comparison to the typical flu.

It will be interesting to see what happens in 10-30 years with the patiens that received the mRNA vaccine.

Wife and I watched a lot of people die over the past year. Recently, it's young people. Diagnosed a young, energetic 20 year old female, healthy and fit (runner, nonsmoker), worked as a barista.... 2 weeks ago I saw her and she had a terrible x-ray on first glance (so bad I ordered a CT of her chest to make sure it wasn't a blood clot), tested positive for covid, and admitted her to my wife's floor (ICU)... 1 week later her parents were finding funeral arrangements. Their only child. Process was quick and brutal. It's a terrible way to die.
A barista you say ?............ohh please God let it be AOC.... please, please, please !

The Pentagon unveiled a coronavirus microchip that it claims can detect illness and prevent the spread of COVID-19.

“The tiny green thing in there, you put it underneath your skin and what that tells you is that there are chemical reactions going on inside the body. And that signal means you’re going to have symptoms tomorrow,” retired Col. Matt Hepburn, an army infectious disease physician said.

The implant was developed by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or DARPA, which claimed the device can not be used for surveillance purposes.

Too bad there isn't a vaccine against stupidity.
There is, but its efficacy is about equal to the COVID and the flu shots. It doesn't stop you from being stupid, and it doesn't stop you from spreading stupid, but they claim it reduces "severe cases of stupid." What ever metric they used to quantify that. They probably took a bunch of people who were not at high risk for severe stupid for their test. Then when they had few severe cases of stupid they claimed it was their vaccine and not their demographic. Damn this is sounding way too familiar. Where have I seen a story like this......:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Its crazy how almost everything the "tin foil hatters" were saying in the begging has turned out to be true.

It does seem that way, and this goes back waaaay further than just the beginning of the pandemic. But the sheep gonna be sheep.

Anybody see where the J&J vaccine may cause clotting? Not trying to stir up shit but heard it may be temporarily pulled for additional study.

See the link I posted just above. The FDA and CDC apparently think this to be an issue.

EDIT: per a report on local radio, six women between the ages of 18 and 48 have experienced blood clots. One died, another is in critical condition. My wife wonders if it's somehow related to the aforementioned mix-up between J&J and AstraZeneca.

About 40 years ago I had a deep discussion with a very wise woman about "people in denial".... I was venting to her about how I was attempting to get these people to face reality. She very patiently listened.... When I finished speaking, she replied in a very calm voice and said "You have to leave them there". This became the very best advice anyone ever gave me in my entire life.

We have been hearing about the blood clotting issue for weeks now, and we are to believe there are only 6 people having this "rare" complication.{so far} Several other countries had already shut it down.

I think you may be confusing this issue with a similar issue with the AstraZenaca that is used in Europe. Or not; the signal-to-noise ratio of this subject is poor.

well all these years of people, I mean, conspiracy theorists talking about chips inside people, much like pets have chips.

this will only get worse from here. sheeple will want one due to the fear instilled in them by govts, then it will escalate from there to everything else people have been talking about over the years, from finances to medical and beyond yesterday's chains the slaves use to wear.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    Enjoy

If I was in the conspiracy type mindset, i'd say it was politically shut down to make sure folks couldn't opt for a traditional vaccine.
The other 2 they are using have had way more deaths and are still being used.

I don't think the FDA is all on the up and up, more than likely somebody is getting a pass for some reason and somebody else isn't.

When you look at the figures...

Odds are greater of being struck by lightning than developing CVST after getting the Janssen vaccine.

Women in the 18-49 demographic are at about 2750 times more likely to die from a confirmed case of COVID-19 than developing CVST after getting the Janssen vaccine.

Get a COVID vaccine or don't, it should 100% be an individual's choice...but let's at least evaluate the situation based on proportional risk...

If people would quit playing fucky with the numbers and hiding things that don't fit the narrative it might make that possible. As of right now, we still have little idea what the risk is from either. Since they decided to change the way they report deaths and report a bunch of deaths that were not COVID. And they decided to use tests that are statically considered 0% accurate to count cases and hand out quarantines.

There has been a large group of doctors since day one saying HQ, as a prophylactic, and go on as normal. Their message was suppressed at every turn, and they were accused of being a Russian disinformation campaign. There has been the same chirping from all over that people are dying, and getting sick from the vaccines. Just like the chirping we herd about HQ, and different anti parasite drugs.

So with further evaluation of the situation, what is the proportional risk? How deadly is COVID? How contagious? How wide spread? Who is actually diving from it? How many fraudulent cases have we had reported because Hospitals wanted COVID money? How many deaths? I know 3 deaths that were miss reported as COVID, and they are the only three people I know that died from it. They were 92, 93, and 94.

I had my second dose of Moderna last week, and it kicked my ass for a day and a half, starting the day after the shot. The first dose was no problem.

Many many years ago, when I was dealing with some minor trouble, a Navy CPO told me that every decision I would make later in life would revolve around "peephole". At an age that starts with a 7, it still has a heavy influence. I did a bit of homework first though, as I have a good friend who is a MD who only worked in research and is 100% scientist first and almost fanatical 2A conservative second. Peephole and the information he gave me (he did not recommend/not recommend anything) led me to decide to take the vaccine. It would have been a much harder decision if I were 30. The takeaway to me is that the real science leans toward the vaccines being effective at least in the short term, while using a technology that looks like it should have no long term side effects, but we won't know that for sure until the long term.

If the vaccine does cause death, at least I'll die having regular access to peephole.

The J&J vaccine has been pulled in several states because of adverse reactions that have nothing to do with the batch that was destroyed. I have not looked at the real statistics, as it doesn't matter to me.

Im sure everyone of you have put far worse in your body than this vaccine offers....or even put your body inside far worse things.

I know I have....but im not interested in putting this in my veins anymore than meth or heroin. Ive never gotten a flu shot, so Ill pass.

Those that are getting it, please get in as quick as possible so I can get my rights restored....IE chosing to not wear a silly mask.

This is exactly right. People like to grab onto individual problems they see in counts, prices etc, and claim that it is all a big lie, whatever it might be, but a factor of 2750 is so significant that you have to believe some pretty outrageous shit not to see the danger differences from infection and from a certain vaccine.

Since the US operates under a voluntary reporting system, that relies on physicians to make a link between any possible associations between side effects and a vaccine, I don't think we really know what the full extent and frequency of occurrence of side effects for the current vaccines are.

In the UK, once the government announced there was a link with the AZ vaccine and blood clotting, the very next week the number of deaths and cases associated with blood clotting and the AZ vaccine tripled. That's because physicians started looking for this link which they may not have put together themselves.

These events may be extremely rare, or perhaps they are more common then we think. I don't think we really know yet.

I stopped trusting doctors when they killed my grandma. I took her to every doctor visit, and watched them give her every drug they could think of. She had shingles and got better but the nerve damage got to her. When they got her hooked on lyrica was the worst, they got her hooked so bad she couldnt get off and it killed her. Some doctors may be good, but most subscribe to better living thru pharmacuticals, its easy to write a script and see what happens, its not their life. I took care of my grandma up to the end, i saw first hand what side effects can happen. Nobody in my family dies alone in a hospital, we will die at home with family. Always have, always will.

There aren't nearly enough fat put downs on here. We should be running at least 4x current levels. And any fatso who drones on about fighting a revolution or what not needs to be put on an immediate diet and workout program. All that extra fat won't win the day.
You’re the only retard on here fantasizing about killing people. Go on any leftist trash board and it’s a circle jerk of man bun pussys like you fantasisizing about politicians ordering soldiers like us to murder American citizens for your woketard politics. Why you persist in bothering us with your boring, reheated, “modern”, Marxism is beyond me. If this were a leftist site you would have been banned a long time ago, but I think it’s great they let you keep spewing nonsense. It shows everyone here the kind of moronic ignorance that can’t be reasoned with. Unless someone with a Professor title gives you your opinion you can’t form one.
I can turn on any MSM news network and get your outlook and opinions all day long, critical race theory, socialist government, speech control, thought control, etc.

We’ve beat your ass a half dozen times in the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. You will loose again. It is amazing though how your kind seems to repackage failure and sell it so easily to another generation of ignorant fools.

Your insults are pathetic. Your a zit faced kid living in his momas basement. Instead of worrying about other people as an avocation you should address all failures in your own life. You should shut up when the men are talking.

Unless someone with a Professor title gives you your opinion you can’t form one.

Who would want to form opinions from educated people, after all? For example:

    John Adams - Harvard
    John Hancock - Harvard
Thomas Jefferson - College of William & Mary
    Samuel Adams - Harvard
    John Jay - King's College
    Alexander Hamilton - King's College

"The typical education of the time—what we would now call a classical education—began at about age eight. Students who went to school were required to learn Latin and Greek grammar and to read the Roman historians Tacitus and Livy, the Greek historians Herodotus and Thucydides, and to translate the Latin poetry of Vergil and Horace. A formal education also stressed the seven liberal arts: grammar, logic, and rhetoric (the trivium), as well as arithmetic, geometry, astronomy, and music (the quadrivium)."

These are the men whom you claim to look up to - and who people followed to their deaths - but whom you don't seem to have the desire to emulate, or respect others who do.

These men would be called "fags" in the Bear Pit, today.

You should shut up when the men are talking.

Some people just need to stay in the cannon ball catching lane. You may be a man amongst men over there, but you're still somebody else's tool, everywhere else.

Some people just need to stay in the cannon ball catching lane. You may be a man amongst men over there, but you're still somebody else's tool, everywhere else.
You two clowns are ridiculous. I actually have a classical education, and it is abundantly clear that you do not. The idea that either of you two communist, apologist morons could actually get me worked up is only a testament to the pathetic online lives you lead. The only thing you cause me are LOLs.

While you were still in grade school (or maybe preschool) I had finished eight (nine if you count eighth grade) years of Latin, and gotten a degree in Human Biology with a double minor in Latin and Philosophy (quite by accident). The classics are exactly what I studied when it wasn't the hard sciences, but my post secondary education was mostly chemistry and biology with a smattering of soft sciences necessary for my particular degree.

Instead of going on to medical school, and following in my fathers footsteps, I decided to serve my country. I am glad I did. Everything I have I earned, and none of it came at the expense of others despite what your zero sum materialism falsely teaches.

Now, I don't besmirch an actual liberal arts education with an eye on civics and becoming a better citizen, but if you think your academy experience is even a glimmer of a classical education in the 1700s you are insane. Your "modern" ideas are utter crap. They were crap when they were penned, and being indoctrinated in them adds no glaze to the turd. At least I'm under no illusion that I am some great thinker, or that I come up with any "new" or "modern" ideas.

Now you two little girls run along.

I can't figure out if this is more unhinged than it is badly spelled and punctuated, or vice versa.
Put a Karen label on it, and "shake off the dust from your feet"

You have a classical American public school education, and that is abundantly clear.

At least I'm under no illusion that I am some great thinker
That's really all you had to say.

"Classical American public education." Yea cause public ed been the same for last 50 years. I swear you guys can't even properly formulate an insult.
That's idiotic, as well. Everyone has known for a lot longer than that, that the education system has been on a slide (as noted by the comment about how our education isn't on par with the 1700's). To put your "Classical American public school education" in the spotlight, is to invite criticism. What has driven Americans for 250+ years, has been their own personal ideals and ethic - not the shitty cookie cutter education that they've received.

The reason the founding fathers were better educated, was because PUBLIC SCHOOLS DIDN'T EXIST, genius. They were almost all exclusively tutored. And at that, they were privately tutored, because they HAD THE MEANS. Almost all of us, in any living generation, have had a McEducation. Don't think you're special because you got a different curriculum.

Anyone who truly had a "classical education" would not even be participating in this forum, much less be making half-baked arguments about how highly educated they are.
