posted similar before. interested in a lighter weight AR10. what is seen on here and elsewhere is about 20% + on SFAR. not a good gamble. looked at the PSA sabre 308 16". no weight listed. called PSA. after getting a "product specialist" i was told weight empty is 6.8 #s. does anybody have one or know from experience if that is correct?
seems iffy. IMHO if they had a gun that light, seems they would advertise that fact.

I would say 6.8 pounds is very lean and I would be curious where they got those numbers and what sacrifices were made.

Heavy weight fluted barrel is ball park of 50 oz

stripped Lower is 10-14oz

stripped upper is similar.... so say e do 10, 10 and 45, thats roughly 4 pounds. Im not saying they are lying, but large frame ARs usually are o the heavier side. So maybe a lighter profile barrel, and some other scarifices to get there....
