The argument could be made, *CoUgH*, that we're triggering them with our presence.

The RISP seemed more interested in protecting the state property from damage, than limiting conflict between the two groups.

Are we gaining anything by gathering and conjuring them up in so doing?

Should we just pack it up and prepare for the inevitable?

The MSM doesn't seem interested in presenting both sides of the story, especially not when they can vilify groups like The Proud Boys.

Thoughts? Other than buying yet more ammunition?

First of all this was pretty minor. A few people I know went to this “event”. The leftist press made it seem a lot more than it really was. The RI sate police really did not get involved too much. It was a lot of bitch slapping and I don’t believe anyone was hurt.

Frankly, I find this all a bit boring and counterproductive. The people that I personally know that attended are people that I consider hotheads. People that are very pissed off about things and very vocal about things. Very vocal in pretty much any environment. No one I would want to be around in a public venue. They feel it is imperative to go to these things and display support but I also believe that they go for a chance to blow off some rage. They believe if you don’t go to show support and solidarity, then you are not a believer.

There are many ways to resist. I keep saying that I strive to be the gray man when in public. I think with today’s technology, being out there and being a mouth breather is kind of foolish. You open yourself up to too many potential downsides. I don’t think you should “pack it up...”. I think you should be fully prepared for the inevitable. I think you should vote to prevent the inevitable. I think you should protect yourself and your family with EXTREME PREJUDICE if forced to do so. Actually, I don't believe that's correct. I remember discussion of making English the official language back sometime when W was in office. I believe it was decided that would be racist, so we have no official language or working borders or much that can be reconciled between left and right.
