What can I do with an Air Force N-8A Gunsight? FINISHED

Couldn't resist since it's working. An Air Force N-8a reflx/holographic/heads up gunsight from WWII. Used on M2 .50 machine guns in the B-17. I'm thinking it will go great with my Elysium AK. I'll have to install a dual 9v in series (18v) battery box, probably in the buttstock.

I built one I was going to put on a ranch vehicle using an M2 propane gun.

smoke launchers.

Converted the gunsight from 110V to 9V using a high-power LED. Now to make a mount for the Elysium AK.

110v bulb and switch with 9v led lamp below

9v bulb fixed in place

Holo sight is operational and very bright

Not heavy, probably lighter than a full size scope like NF or S&B. There is nothing inside except a lamp, mirror and reticle. The body is thin aluminum.

My only .50...and I made a picatinny mount for the sight So I can put it on anything.
