To FAFO, I placed a bunch of 5.56 brass into a plastic tub, added very hot water, lemon juice, and dawn. Used a slotted spatula to stir the cases around. In about 2 mins they were clean and shiny. WTF? No stainless steel pins, just sloshed around the mixture. I used cold water to rinse, shook the water out by handful batches and put on a cookie sheet in oven at 200 degrees for 20 mins to total dry.

Nothing is this easy. What am I missing here?

Anyone having good luck with this ammo. All my precision guns have hated it till now. Have a rimx with 26 inch shilen select match barrel that is shooting it very well! Few flyers but is shooting some small groups at 100 yards. All but 2 under inch. 2 groups were 1 1/4. Lot of fun shooting on the cheap

Greetings from the Black Hills of South Dakota, where a month or so ago a clueless idiot got the bright idea to purchase a precision rifle.

That idiot is me.

Instead of approaching this in a measured incremental manner starting on something relatively affordable I chose to buy an Accuracy International AT-X in 6.5mm Creedmoor. Being an enthusiast for doing all things in the wrong order I then chose to start researching after the rifle showed up at my FFL, because having a clue of what direction to go with anything that comes next is for people who don't like being lost.

Not that anyone will or should care I have some background in competitive bullseye pistol shooting in college (made nationals in 2003 at Ft. Benning), very limited USPSA competition, a smattering of NRA service rifle, and some small bore position shooting with Anschutz .22LR's etc. I also served in the USMC as a 0351 and had one deployment to Iraq in 2004, getting out in November of 2004 after returning to CONUS and finishing leave as my enlistment expired in May of 2004 while I was still deployed.

I am currently employed as a Locomotive Engineer of middling ineptitude dragging around all manner of freight mostly consisting of coal by tonnage, at strange hours of the day and night. Between the coal being hauled from coal mines I operate out of, to the enormous amounts of diesel fuel consumed doing it, Greta Thunberg's childhood has been thoroughly stolen.

With any luck I might actually learn about making bullets go where I want them to here,
so that I can someday be more effective at making steel targets ring than I currently am simply yelling at them and shaking my fist in rage.

It looks like I've been the latest victim of fraud on this site (although this one's a pretty weird case, not your standard scammer). I'm happy to lay out all the details here if it's the best thing to do. But that leads to the question… is there an SOP for reporting this type of thing?

He's a "Commercial Supporter" so I figure there's got to be at least some way of reporting it to Lowlight and getting him banned from the site? Most forums I frequent usually have a "feedback" section or similar for these type of things to discuss an issue & resolution but I've been unable to find any section close to that here.

Also, please, have some decency, I really don't need any of the "PaYPaL GOoDs SerVICes" comments right now. I'm not trying to be flippant, but I did use PayPal G&S and the way I was scammed out of being able to submit a claim is pretty unique and something I haven't encountered before.
