How long after laparoscopic hernia surgery before you can shoot? (From a bench, obviously not some run and gun type shooting)
My Dr is basically telling me I can't do anything for 6 weeks... I don't think I'll make it 6 days let alone 6 weeks!
Shooting from a bench seems like something I should be able to get away with. But I'd like to hear how others did?

Hey everyone,

Tldr: I'm currently figuring out what my next suppressors are going to be as I'm trying to stop hot swapping suppressors and get dedicated cans for each rifle. I'm looking at a kgm r6 for a 16" "reCCe" rifle and wonder if titanium can handle harsh-ish semi auto use. I have a 30 cal suppressor already that lives on a competition bolt gun.

I'd like to explore a lighter weight 5.56 can to stay on a 16" lightweight barelled rifle almost permanently. I am looking very closely at the kgm r6, as the weight, length, and features are very appealing. The ocl polonium is also a contender here, but at near double the weight, I'm wondering if I could get away with a titanium suppressor on a semi-auto platform. I never plan for full auto fire.

My concern is with putting a titanium suppressor on something semi-auto. I don't do any mag dumping into dirt, but I will on occasion run something like a 3 gun course with 2-3 magazines in a short amount of time, or hammer out some bill drills at the range, etc. The last thing I'd want is a semi-auto gun I have to run at bolt action speeds 24/7.

Questions:
Can titanium suppressors stand up to very typical semi-auto use?
With 5.56, what typically suppresses better? A smaller 5.56/6mm can, or something higher volume but with a bigger hole aka 30 cal at higher volume?

I have a 26” mtu profile 6.5 cm barrel. I’d like to shorten it up to somewhere in the range of 16-20 inches to make it a more manageable length for hunting. Can anyone tell me what I could expect the barrel to weigh?

While 'Doable' this is an insane idea. Much more reasonable would be the drought stricken states to implement strict water usage rules, and limit future growth. They will never limit growth because the politicians want more people because it equals larger tax base = more money to steal. They would do better to catch an astroid and pull it to earth.

checked it in normal; they even took my number to call me if TSA needed to get in it, no call, no word, got the case in Denver with the lock cut


This is why I normally carry TSA locks, but in this case, I just grabbed the first set of locks on the shelf

They will cut your stuff and send it on its way, and they gave me my cut lock back.

Is it just me not noticing or, have all these searches of joe bidens many houses and garages been done without a search warrant. Over the past months i have had many top tier optics fitted to my Desert Tech HTI.. S&B 5-25 / 3-27HP , Nightforce ATACR 7-35 , Leica 5-30 , ZCO 5-27 and 8-40 and what i thought was the top of the tree...Tangent Theta 5-25..

I had heard so much about the March Genesis 6-60 ... Superb glass and it would also allow me to get away from using a prism in front of my optics for ELR.

Took a punt and purchased 2 Genesis 6-60,s...one with the FMA reticle and one with the FML TR1 reticle.

Myself and a good friend today did some quick comparisons to my Tangent.......set both on 25x we were shocked how much better the March is!!! Much much sharper , better contrast and depth .
The March is like looking through a wide open , bright, clear window.....in comparison the Tangent is narrower in the field of view, darker and far less contrast and depth!!

Sharpness and clarity the March wins hands down.!!

Very surprised just how much better "Optically" the March is.....

This coming weekend it will be atop my HTI for some in the field usage....cant wait..

Note.......pic attached shows an image ( shitty Phone Camera Pic) of the Tangent and March this Avro looking at 1400yds across a hot, shimmery paddock. In real life it was VERY easy to see the advantage the March has over the Tangent..

Bought a zermatt action that had a carbon prefit 308 barrel on it. Went to the range MV was decent for a 16” barrel but the grouping was trash. I was also having issues with lite strikes on AB39 and my A tips. Put my foster go gauge in that went smooth. Put the “no go” gauge in and that closed smoothly as well. I used my Zermatt action wrench to pull the barrel off and reinstalled it to 70 foot lbs. checked the head space again and it closed smoothly on the no go gauge? I took the extractor off the bolt to seat the gauges. It does not close on the field gauge. I’m not new to PRS but I am new to building my rifles and to reloading. Would this cause the accuracy And lite strike issues? If so how can I fix this? Any help is appreciated.
