Does this Tikka action look like it's installed correctly?

full disclosure: I'm a complete idiot, with very little natural mechanical inclinations.

I purchased a pre-owned KRG Bravo Chassis for my Tikka T3x Lite, and I am brand new to bolt guns.

Went to install today, and I can't tell if I did it correctly, despite following along with the instructions, provided.

I knew that the lite profile barrel might look a little odd sitting in the Bravo chassis, but this seems.... incorrect?

Also note the gap between the trigger guard and the chassis.

If anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong, or if this is normal, I would greatly appreciate it!

Stacey Abrams Derides Georgia on Campaign Trail: ‘Worst State in the Country to Live’

Gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams ridiculed the state of Georgia Saturday, dismissing rival Gov. Brian Kemp’s (R) claim that the Peach State is the best place to live and do business in the United States.
“I am tired of hearing about how we’re the best state in the country to do business when we are the worst state in the country to live,” Abrams said in a speech at the Gwinnett Democrats’ Bluetopia Gala in Norcross, Georgia.
GA may be #1 place for biz, but we’re #48 in mental health, #2 in uninsured. #1 in maternal mortality & new HIV cases, #9 in gun violence. For too many, Kemp’s Georgia doesn’t include them. Why? Because #KempDoesntCare
As Governor, I’ll lead #OneGeorgia that’s #1 for all of us.
— Stacey Abrams (@staceyabrams) May 22, 2022

Stacey Abrams may think differently, but I believe Georgia is the best state to live, work, and raise a family.
And Marty, the girls, and I will work hard every day from now until November to keep it that way for four more years! https://t.co/T77LF1DroP
— Brian Kemp (@BrianKempGA) May 22, 2022

The U.K. Daily Mail reported on Abrams’ remarks:
Abrams, who is running unopposed while incumbent and heavy favorite Brian Kemp and Trump-backed David Perdue duke it out for the GOP nomination, was reacting to Kemp’s persistent brag that the Peach State is the best in the nation to do business.
Abrams went on further to clarify that she felt the state could do better on issues where they are ranked near the last in the nation.
‘Let me contextualize,’ she said. ‘When you’re number 48 for mental health, when we’re number one for maternal mortality, when you have an incarceration rate that’s on the rise and wages that are on the decline, then you are not the number one place to live. Georgia is capable of greatness, but we need greatness to be in our governor’s office. We need someone who actually believes in bringing all of us in there together.’
Abrams ran a failed 2018 gubernatorial campaign against Kemp and has since refused to concede, stoking conspiracy theories of a stolen election. This time around, Kemp is also facing another Republican in Tuesday’s primary election — Sen. David Perdue (R), who has been endorsed by former President Donald Trump.
Abrams has slammed Kemp for his stance on climate change and his handling of the coronavirus pandemic in Georgia. However, Kemp argues that the state was the first to end lockdowns, allowing businesses to stay open and preserving Georgians’ livelihoods.

BTW don't get excited by the coming of the blue hats. they won't be coming from kenya, sweden or italy etc. the PLA will be given that job with maybe some help from the mexican army or the taliban since we have so well equipped them.

‘Financially Crippled:’ Celebrity NFTs Leave Fans and Investors Broke

Floyd Mayweather
AP Photo/Invision/Dan Harr
Lucas Nolan23 May 202293

In recent months, NFTs (non-fungible tokens) have become increasingly popular with many celebrities promoting their own NFTs. Now, many fans who invested in digital tokens promoted by their favorite stars are financially “crippled.” One investor believes that celebrities “took their payouts and moved on while everybody who scraped by to invest in their futures got robbed.”
NBC News reports that many investors who purchased NFTs promoted by popular celebrities have found themselves financially ruined. NBC News tells the story of a man named Tyler who purchased a “Bored Bunny” NFT promoted by champion boxer Floyd Mayweather.
NFT band Kingship
NFT band “Kingship” (UMG)
Tyler invested $12,000 into the NFTs, which are just a series of images of rabbits similar to the popular Bored Ape Yacht Club that grew in popularity as NFTs became more prominent in the crypto space, based on Mayweather’s endorsement of the project.
The Bored Bunny NFTs are now worth much less than the $12,000 Tyler paid. “This basically financially crippled me,” said Tyler. The 35-year-old property manager is now struggling to pay for basic necessities like gas and groceries. He feels that Mayweather and other NFT promoters “took their payouts and moved on while everybody who scraped by to invest in their futures got robbed.”

Madonna NFTs (Beeple)
The Bored Bunny team was promising returns of “2x, 5x, maybe even 10x the value of [their] investment,” for investors. But the value of the NFT project dropped significantly and has yet to recover, with the floor price of a Bored Bunny NFT sitting at 0.05 Ethereum or $104.09, a major drop from its mint price of 0.4 Ethereum — $1,504.54.
The Bored Bunny founders have denied any wrongdoing and Mayweather has declined to comment. But this is an ongoing pattern in the crypto space, especially with NFTs. The practice is referred to as a “rug pull” in which new NFT projects are promoted with high-profile endorsements that sell a large number of NFTs that promptly lose most of their value.
In 2021, Breitbart News reported that singer Grimes – real name Claire Elise Boucher – successfully sold a collection of NFTs for $5.8 million in February. But while the cost to buy one of the 303 NFTs in the collection was initially around $7,500, some recently traded for as little as $1,200, an 84 percent drop in value.
Gauthier Zuppinger, the chief operating officer of NonFungible, commented on the trend of celebrities losing money on NFTs stating: “From what we’ve seen so far, most of these collections don’t have much liquidity, which is one of the two ways for NFT collections to die: lose value or get frozen. It’s probably too soon to draw any conclusion for now, but it looks like these were more experiments than truly valuable collections.”
Fans who have invested in NFTs of naked Madonna may be in for a rude awakening.

Hilarious!!!
This takes a special kind of stupid person!!

Shoot or no?

How many of you would smoke the guy with the knife?

For a bit of context, knife guy cut off biker guy. Who approached who first after they came to stop is unknown but knife dude drew first.

Lots of ignorant comments on youtube, most assuming that one needs to get cut or at least lunged at before using deadly force in self defense.

As soon as knife guy approaches in a threatening way with a knife at the ready, he's bought and paid for according to my state's statutory and case law and shooting him would have been 100% justified use of force.

Biker dude showed much more restraint than I would have. For certain I would have done a bill drill on him as soon as he took a swing with the knife.

Firearms Barrett M99 .50, 5x Remington 700’s (3 Senderos) Badger M2008 6,5gap 4s, Colt, AR’s

Up for sale are a few of my rifles I’m liquidating . These can be seen locally at my friends Gunshop in Medford Long Island NY. All of these rifles with the exception of the M2008 and the 7mil Sendero are proven shooters, in perfect working order and are a great specimen of its model. Cash in person for local or tristate area members is king, Postal Money order a strong second and last but not least PP FF. You pay shipping. Rifle can ship from FFL or directly to your FFL after proper verification. PM me for my phone number and we can talk or text and work out any details.

1 - Barrett M99 .50 BMG

This rifle may just be the most accurate rifle I’ve ever shot as it has printed several 1/4-3/8 Moa groups with factory Hornady 750gr Amax at my local 200 yard range and sub 1/2 with my first hand load attempt with 225 grains of Hodgdon 50 powder, CCI primers and 798gr Cutting Edge bullets. I believe I have all the paperwork that came with the rifle. 132 rounds down the pipe, I will include the last box of Factory Hornady’s, it’s favorite meal !!

$3700 Gun only $5950 with IOR Recon G2 Mil with Sphur Mount. (Btw these scopes are Razor SLAYERS)

2 - Remington 700 Sendero 7mm REM MAG.

This rifle is an unfired specimen used by a Remington salesman that would go around gun shops displaying the rifle and taking orders. The original firing pin was ground down at the factory, I have replaced it with an original firing and its in now fully functional with a new bore. Unfortunately this one got few ugly small spots on the barrel and bolt handle from poor storage. No spots inside barrel, crown or chamber these are just cosmetic. Please contact me for detailed pictures and further info.

$1050

6 - Remington 700 300 Weatherby Mag Custol build.

This rifle was built for one of my father friends whom after completion never shot it. Blueprinted receiver, Shillen 1.200 straight pipe, Shillen trigger on a custom Walnut stock. The bore is in mint condition only having a box of factory Weatherby ammo through it. Rifle shot around 5/8 but I believe the rifle to be capable of much, much better results with different loads or some hands loads. The reason I say this is because the chamber looks damn near perfect. I have a pretty good eye for this and this might be the most concentric chamber in have ever seen. I will include 99 rounds of Wheatherby one fired brass in its original boxes and a die set so you can get shooting right out of the box.

$875

7 - Armalite AR10 308 win 20” with Stag lower

This is a “NY COMPLIANT” set up, meaning the magazine is fixed in place. Previous owner took the messy route and instead of buying a mag lock he simply JB glued the mag in the mag well. This can be reverted if you take the time to clean it off

This rifle I picked up at local gunshow and was missing the barrel. I purchased a new 11.25 twist from Armalite along with a spring and buffer. Rifles shoots smoothly and seems to digest everything I fed it just fine. With the low power optic on it and shooting mainly ball ammo this rifle hovers around 1-1but I’m sure it’s capable of better with more magnification. Scope is a Acog 1.5x ACSS reticle, perfect match for close to mid range and hunting.

$725 rifle only and $1625 with Acog

8 - Colt Match Target Lightweight Carbine .556

Another NY compliant but this was done properly with a mag lock. These are easily reverted.

100% original with 200-250 rounds of ball ammo.

$925

9 - Wolf A1 T91 Piston upper, LaRue 2 stage triggerc, BCM Gunfighter Med charging handle on an Anderson Lower. Super smooth cycling rifle, accurate and reliable. Never had a single FTF. Semipro rattle can pain job with clear over it. Steady diet of xm855 through this pipe and well under 200 rounds fired. These are chrome lined barrels and are good for 10k

$725

10 - Badger M2008 6.5 Gap 4s,

I recently purchased this rifle from here maybe a month ago and I just haven’t had the time to shoot it. KRG Whiskey 3 chassis, Calvin Elite trigger, 26” Bartlein and Mack Bros Muzzle brake, Redding bushing dies set, and around two hundred pieces of brass. Seller stated that there were 1000-1200 rounds through it. Action looks Ceracoated. Rifle seems to function just fine. I meant to re-barrel this thing and go against my buddies 6.5 creed which he’s been talking so much shit about it since he got it. I decided to pause the arms race and focus on other more productive battles.

$1950 for everything

Please PM me for my cell number so we talk. Six three 1

Three five Seven. Six five

Reloading Equipment Autotrickler V4 Panel Set

Selling these after garnering a bit of attention in the Autotrickler V4 thread. :)

This is a complete panel set, designed specifically for the ATV4. The riser and outer panels are the same on the ATV3, however the top plate is a different design, and I no longer have an ATV3 to prototype against, but may consider trying to figure out a solution in the future if there is enough desire for me to do so.

Panel set is designed to serve multiple purposes. First, it makes it easier to see the green "go" light. Secondly, it keeps runaway kernels off the weighing pan, and third, it protects against wind drifts a bit better than it not being there at all.

Set includes a riser (that holds the top plate at the proper height), a top plate, and three outer wind screens that are direct replacements for the clear panels included with the scale.

This is a direct fit, drop in replacement. No fitting should be necessary.

Please see below for color choices. I have white, and a decently close color match (note, it's closer to the scale body color than the plastic wind screen frame color), but it isn't EXACT. Pics below were white-balance adjusted, and taken in 4000k light, which approximates a good balance between indoor and outdoor light.

Price is $25/set + $5 Shipping per order (to CONUS). I will ship to Canada, Alaska, and Hawaii, but I ask you to pay the difference vs. CONUS. Thus far, AK and HI have been $1-2 extra, and Canada has been $16 Extra. All pricing in USD.

I'll respond to all messages I received in the ATV4 thread with the price as it wasn't listed there. These will be produced on a made to order basis at first, so I ask for some patience in getting it delivered as there was a TON of interest; that said, I'll eventually have these ready to ship immediately, but it will be first come first served for now.

I know I'm new here, but I have plenty of feedback over on Arfcom, as well as on eBay, where I've been a member for 22 years. Happy to provide links to my feedback on those two sites if you'd like, just ask in your PM.

Dead Air Nomad Ti Failure

Had an interesting day at the range this past weekend. I had taken my 7 saum out to shoot a few rounds and was running it with the Dead Air Nomad-Ti that I have had for about 9 months. I normally hunt with a TBAC but like the size and tone and had recently switched to the Nomad-Ti. It is only used on bolt actions and never abused. Honestly it has never been too hot to take off because my rifles are so expensive to shoot (dang saums....) that I rarely shoot more than 5-10 round through it per session. The first two shots printed a nice little group at 200. Shot number three was violent with excessive recoil and an obvious problem. It took a second or two to make sure I still had 10 fingers etc and then noticed my suppressor was about 4" shorter. The base of the can was still firmly attached (direct thread mount) but the final 3.5 inches was missing in action. It took 4 of us looking to find the other 5 ounces of titanium roughly 65 yards downrange!! A pic of the now two piece can is attached. So to answer the questions that will be asked

1) There was no baffle strike (the bullet actually impacted 1" high on target)
2) Yes it was a hand load but was a proven load and brass looked perfect after firing (ADG, Fed 215m, 143 Ham Hunter, H4350 (58.5gr) at 3020)
3) Rifle was a Gunwerks Magnus chambered in 7 saum with a 20" proof barrel
4) I have submitted a warranty ticket and fully expect Dead Air to make things right.
5) No person or rifle was harmed from this failure

Just curious if this was a fluke with a weakness in manufacturing or if others have had any issue like this. Curious to hear others thoughts.

Firearms AI AT-X Elite Sand with 3 mags and accessories

This is a gen 1 rifle. Elite Sand color.

No folder at the moment (might have one soon, which will increase price a bit if so).

-Less than 500 rounds on action.
-6cm Straight jacket 22” (I think, I’ll have to measure again, but it’s not a 24 or 26”) with less than 200rnds on it.
-3 mags included
-Long nvg rail
-Short nvg rail
-3 internal weights
-4 sawtooth external weights
-2 sawtooth “side bites”
-bugholes bag rider
-short picatinny rail with flush cup

Two mags runs 6gt and everything else perfectly. The 3rd mag likely needs to go to AI unless running .308.

$5500 shipped for it all.

Possible trades (+/- cash if needed):

-Swaro SLC 15x56 (newest model only)
-Gap 10 in 6cm or 6gt (no home built rifles)
-JP in 6cm or 6gt (no home built rifles)
-Swaro BTX 95 or 115 setup (might consider smaller objectives, but has to be the BTX eyepiece)
-MDT hnt26 (arca and folder preferred)

Will get more pics if needed. Rifle is in excellent shape.

Thanks

(Note: I’ve received a ton of PMs on various things. Ammo, loading, products, etc. I’m working my way through about 90 PM’s. I haven’t forgotten anyone. Just working my way down)
